Default Table Pre-sets, and Tablemaking tutorial.

Aye. Pre-set tables. All you need to do is fill in the "Special" Sections of the tables as thats not something I can well do for ya, now can I? Unless you were to ask me at least, then I could do up the specials for you as well.
Now, I'm not going to do them all at once. That would be boring. So I'll post as I go. Maybe reserve a post or three.. or four, just in case. Ya' never know, and post as I go.

You can copy the code in the box below the "Example". Or you can go here to fix up your own. (Switch "Formating" to "GITP")

Bonus! Heres how you may make your own table, personally!

[Tutorial=In Box]
^-- This starts the table off. Its important to add the =head part, or it just doesn't look right.
Next, the sections. On the =head row, add | to separate your desired sections such as:
Levels | Spells | Fun Stuff

Once you have your sections its time to move on, Don't add a | at the end, just press enter once or more (if you so wish)
To make it look better, its recommended to Center( and Bold() the headers.

So theres your header, and you've just pressed Enter. Your now on the next line.
Simply type the first row of content, Separate with the |, and continue. Like this:

1st | 0 | Suppah Speed

Again, no | at the end is needed, but sometimes it while your in the posting window. Any additional rows made that don't have a Head will be cut off.

Press enter again to continue on with desired stages such as 2nd levels and beyond.
Once your finished, close with:
A finished product would look something like this:
Level
| Spells | Fun Stuff
1st | 0 | Suppah Speed |
2nd | 1 | Blitzenkreg |
3rd | 2 | Skillz Shot | Lolikat
4th | 3 | Happy Dance |

Notice below this box how the "Lolikat" gets cut off, as there is no fourth row.

Level Spells Fun Stuff
1st 0 Suppah Speed
2nd 1 Blitzenkreg
3rd 2 Skillz Shot
4th 3 Happy Dance

For additional fun, you can add Titles and secondary box windows for greater visual impact and usefulness by adding a second table surrounding your table. But be careful, some people are bothered by dual tables and may make a complaint thread about it, so use with caution!
Table 1: The Example | Spells
Level | BAB | Sexy Save
1st | +1 | +2
2nd | +2 | +2
3rd | +3 | +3
4th | +4 | +3
5th | +5 | +3
|
1|2|3|4|5
1
2 | 1
3 | 2 | 1
4 | 3 | 2 | 1
5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1

Table 1: The Example Spells
Level BAB Sexy Save
1st +1 +2
2nd +2 +2
3rd +3 +3
4th +4 +3
5th +5 +3
12345
1
2 1
3 2 1
4 3 2 1
5 4 3 2 1

As you can see, this makes for an incredibly sexy table and greatly helps for features such as Spells.

Sometimes you just need to add something cut out some rows for a special box. Thats where {colsp=x} comes in. This will start an extended box starting in the section you listed it in onward.

Table: The GAR-MAN-CER GARmancy
Level Base Attack Bonus Fort Reflex Will 1 2 3 4 5
1 +1
+2
1 -
2 +2
+2
3 1 -
3 +3
+3
5 3 1 -
4 +4
+3
7 5 3 1 -
5 +5/+0
+4
9 7 5 3 1

How did I make this equally sexy table that doesn't spawn complaint threads? Here, observe The Code~
{colsp=5}Table: The GAR-MAN-CER |{colsp=5}GARmancy
Level | Base Attack Bonus | Fort | Reflex | Will | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5
1 | +1 |{colsp=3}+2 | 1 |{colsp=4} - | - | - | -
2 | +2 |{colsp=3}+2 | 3 | 1 |{colsp=3} - | - | -
3 | +3 |{colsp=3}+3 | 5 | 3 | 1 |{colsp=2} - | -
4 | +4 |{colsp=3}+3 | 7 | 5 | 3 | 1 | -
5 | +5/+0 |{colsp=3}+4 | 9 | 7 | 5 | 3 | 1
Still not getting it? You may have a sneaky SPACE in there somewhere. Yea, thats what I thought to. Spaces? really, gotta watch out for the little buggers. If you have a Space in between you | and your { the Colsp will fail.

Well there you go, now go explore the wonderful world of Homebrewing!

[/End Tutorial]

Now for the Main event, The Pre-Sets

To start if off, we have here a Blank class table.

I just want to throw out that there's an excellent table generator here that can create all sorts of different kinds of tables if you need things like spellcasting, medium saves, extra columns, or whatever. It can also generate them in several different formats including specifically for this board.

I've wanted to make a thread with a certain table in it for a long time. I think here would be as fine a place as any. (Would be nice if this were to be added to the OP. Fine if it's not.)

Is it better or worse without the html boxes? I can easily change it in seconds if no one likes it.

btw, I have been editing things people bring of, Wel' your Bloodline was added to the second post soon after you showed it, for example. I just haven't... bump'ed.

How's the tutorial?

Well, giving the raw code in some form is VERY useful to newbies, and the html box format prevents side-scroll in the main window.

hm? So... you liked the html better? I'm confused at the side-scroll comment, as side scrolling is a hassle with the html, not the noparse.

Anyone is free to donate table formats, like the bloodline welknair did.

I said it wrong... Line-wrap can be confusing sometimes, so side-scroll bars can be advantageous.

Ah. I prefer line-wrap usually, though it can be confusing once in a while, I don't see any such problems here. meanwhile side-scrolling annoys me more often then not.

Is there anywhere like that here that needs fixing?

Thank you, Cipher, for doing this thread. Makes it a whole lot easier to figure out how/what to do with tables.

Thank you, Kellus, for the link to the other page with the generator. I hope to get use out of both of your contributions in the future.

How does one do teh vertical line that separates teh columns in a table?

normally i just copy and paste that line like a thousand or so times it would be great if I knew there was a hot key or button i could just hit to make that,

Here's another +1 to having this sticky'd or being mentioned in 'Notable Threads'!

I have no idea if this is important, but Rawhide mentioned in this thread that he'll be replacing the br tag sooner or later, so if it's used here it's probably a good idea to switch it to the new tags ([div] and
if I got it right). Just to keep the guide up to date

Terribly sorry, I could have sworn I added in a second spell chart with the 0's, I just did that now. Sorry for the delay.

I'm also aware there are errors in the last few Tables. I can't find the problem though.
