It's nice to hear what I'd consider to be a more traditional country song. And if I just got the genre wrong you may slap me if our paths ever cross. Anyways below is my song as a hyper link

Your URL doesn't work, unfortunately. So I searched for it.
I'd give it a 6, due to it just being an average pop/j-rock style song with very little emotion in the lyrics or the music, and with it pretty much being the same riff throughout, with very little variation - not even any sequences to break up the piece a bit. The breakdown at around 3:00 is the reason it's a 6 rather than a 5. It isn't bad, but isn't particularly great, in my opinion. Just average and a good example of a normal piece of the genre.

That gets a 6. a 1 for the strange lyrics, and a five for that awesome middle section. If she had done more with the middle section, it would have been awesome, but the sections on either side were rather unimpressive.

4/10 honestly it's not my type of music, so i can't critique it honestly, hover i really disliked the first 17 seconds and i don't like this type of music
I am happy to report that I did not run, run so far away from this song. One hit wonders they might be in popular opinion, but A Flock of Seagulls cuts a decent number aside from their most familiar material. 7.8.
8/10. Not quite my thing, but good lyrics, and the beat really grooved.
Have you ever wondered what the literal description of a commercial would look like? Literal Trailer

I'd rate this with an 8.5. Beautiful song, it's not easy to sound so good with just voice and acoustic guitar. (do you know any info about its publishing? year, name of the original album, etcetera?) I guess I'll get and keep it.
Eh, I really liked some of Korn stuff, and still kinda like. That said, the best thing that can be really said about this track is that you can hum along I guess....
Sounds like a straightforward power ballad. I can't really say that it is especially great in some way and - alas - I can't understand the lyrics who 'might' be important and deeply moving.

The next song is also not in the preferred language of this forums. But I provided a translation which is correspondent with the lyrics under the vid.
It is from the east-german band Karat from the year 1979. Well, the lyrics have a certain double meaning if you think about the GDR.
If you wonder why the singer looks much younger then the other band members, he is the son of their late original singer.
There is a bird,
who sailors crowned as ruler
he flies 'round the earth
from the south sole to the north, no goal is to far:
the albatross knows no borders.
He sails with dignity,
wanders through the airs as if he's a god;
he follows their ships
on the open sea, through cliffs
intoxicating his flight:
He seeks their way though the sea.
And chrash the storms with rough force
on the oceans so endlessly wide,
then he flies with fire and soars immensely
to the freedom of the seas.
But if he's captured in arm-thick snares,
with malice and ruse, then break the vans (wings);
the sea it mourns, who misses its ruler:
Captivity means death to him.
The slaves of the earth, mocked and opressed,
they cast his lot, when he lay bound,
bleeding out at the shore, broken his flight:
The albatross was their symbol.
Then the vastness calls him, the endless might,
then he storms into the open with exorbitant power
he swings his wings, bursts locks and bolts
of fetters and chains.
And when walls pile up and cramps grab him
from clouds like lead; and he's struck by lightning,
he fights with the wings (vans) past the obstacle
He finds the path even in a hurricane.
And chrash the storms with rough force
on the oceans so endlessly wide,
then he flies with fire and soars immensely
to the freedom of the seas.

It's not something I'd buy for my own enjoyment, but I wouldn't be perturbed if it happened to be playing where I was. I particularly approve of the violins- they were a nice touch.

Now, get back in line and sing along.
Though my taste for Pantera is fickle, this song has always been at least somewhat pleasant on the ears. However, I find the instrumental work a little less so.
6.8/10 Gives a great ambiance but I can't really see anyone listening it for the sake of listening to it. To me it's just a tool to set the mood... (oh wait isn't that all music? Aaww crap now I'm even admitting I sound dumb)
I like the music. That big sounding-style is good. Overall, it's not the best of that kind, but I do enjoy it from time to time. This one doesn't have anything to make stand out from others in my opinion, but I still like it.
I know this song all to well. This brings up horrifying memories of being forced to listen to old country western songs in a smelly mini van so in all reality maybe my judgement is tainted, please forgive me. *Bashes head against desk*
Why couldn't you of posted Big Iron? That's actually a really good song <<.
What is this? Alternative metal? Sounds neat! I don't really care for the scream type stuff, but the guitar is all right and the singing during the rest of it is pretty great. It's not too catchy, though.
It didn't really interest me. Willing to admit others might like it, but in my opinion, just a five.
Now, one of the best opening songs for a musical out there: No One Mourns The Wicked.
I wonder if I could convince people to play this at my funeral...
