I like the male singer but not the female one as much, which is unfortunate since she drowns him out in the duets. But the song is catchy and darkly upbeat.
Pretty good. I'm not a very big fan of Barrett-era Pink Floyd, but I very much liked the echo effect on the guitar. Maybe it's because I'm comparing it to their later stuff, but it did seem a bit too simple for me. 7/10.
I know Rush has been suggested before, but I can't help but suggest the amazing La Villa Strangiato.
The actual song starts about 25 seconds in. Be warned, this is not for those who hate 9-minute instrumentals.

I applaud their skill with their respective instruments. Interesting fact: I wanted to be a harmonica expert as a girl. I just don't care for bluegrass, or whatever you'd call the style, and the song itself is particularly upbeat, which also goes against my musical choices. So...
4/10
Listen to Not Fair (Subject Matter PG-13). Pandora Radio decided I liked it and Pandora was right. Also I chose it ironically after the above comments about upbeat folksy sounding music
Edit: My favorite part about the theme is that the voice actors of the main characters sing it. I always thought Jeremy sounded like he had a stuffed up nose, but he sure makes a good lead singer.
Holy crap, I just got a rush of nostalgia about that show! That said, this song fills the role of theme music adequately, but it's not one of those ones that stands out to me and has me grinning like a fool years after first hearing it. I'll give it 6.5/10.
Loud but not bad. I don't know where it's from, and it's a lot over the top. I could definitely see this as Music to Battle a Boss by.
6/10
I Will Survive - The Puppini Sisters. Discovered recently and I just keep wanting to show people how great it is. I think it's better than the original >.>

I really don't think I can call this cover, more like.... interpretation?
In any case, it's really good, original is legendary t(h)rashing of ears with riffs, while this actually sounds evil... I guess it's perfectly true that Satan in fact must be a woman.
Nessun Dorma, from Giacomo Puccini's Turandot, sung by Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, and Jose Carreras. Rather famous piece.

Impressive. I liked it, but I felt it was a rather dull piece by itself. Just the music seemed uninspired to me. The band impressed me more than the three tenors. 6/10
5/10. While well orchestrated, the song on the whole ends up being more than a little generic-sounding.
For the next, I present Primo Victoria, Wardrum Version, by Van Canto. It's a cover of a band called Sabaton, and features the lead singer Joakim Broden. I'll place a PG-13 label on it, since it does reference World War II.

Primo Victoria is an amazing song, and this cover, despite being (mostly) a cappella, still manages to do it justice. Having the actual singer involved helps as well. Nevertheless, I still don't like it quite as much as the original. 8/10.
This next song is a live clip of Yes performing Roundabout in 1973.

I'm a great fan of this style, whatever it is. Country?
I even forgot I was listening to a YouTube video, it would fit right in my standard playlist.
Not bad. The music itself was too upbeat for my liking, bu it sounded alright. The two singers went together pretty well, ignoring the obvious autotuning. The one thing that really put me off of this song though were the lyrics. Overall not a bad song. 5/10
I don't listen to much German music so I don't know how much of the voice pitch can be blamed on the language itself, but it sounds almost militaristic. Plus he holds notes on odd syllables (tiiiieeeef). But I like the tune and the lyrics.
Seems sort of standard to what I've heard of The Cure's songs. Makes good background music, if nothing else. 7/10
And now for something completely different, Song of Aeolus, by composer Karl Jenkins.

I was a bit put off by the lengthy, rather unnecessary spoken intro, but I really started liking it after the minute and a half mark. The improvisational skills of the banjo player and sax player were simply jaw-dropping. The bassist also was quite good, able to make the bass line complex and interesting when it needed to be without overshadowing the melody. The only thing I didn't like was the faux-drums being synthesized by... whatever that guy was playing. They were just rather bland. Having a real drummer would help this group enormously. Still, 8/10.
Eh... It wasn't that great.
However, a lot of that could be bias on my part as a person who is not at all fond of various rock varieties.
So, I shall give it the benefit of the doubt and say 6/10.
Rather moving got me to feel the feels, but only to a minor degree.
Not excatly my usual cup of tea but I can hardly fault it for that.
So all in all a good piece of music, but not the best, lets say around 7.5.
Now for the next song, I choose The Quick and the Blue by The Megas, as performed by Sasoriemo

It's quite good! 8/10. The Old Home place, performed by Tony Rice and Some weirdly dressed band members. Oh, the '80s.
