Well, the company isn't quite as okay with people posting full episodes onto youtube. There are places online to watch them, but I'm not going to link them for obvious reasons.

Depends on how many supernatural creatures existed without need of a magical item to "create them".

I doubt they would be "unfortunate" so much as "radicaly different". Dibs on saying Flame Princess will show up as the chubby young girl next door, and that a possible friendly/ love intrestly relationship would be far less complicated and with there not being a war to create the very idea of a "fire elemental".

Also of note is Bee Bee and Puppycat, which was primaraly made by one of Adventure Time's storybord makers, Natasha Allegri. Should be amusing, considering that she's the gal who piched the whole "genderbent episode".

I wonder if this show is at the level of maturity that the creators wanted AT to have, but Executives have forced it to become more juvenile.

I hope not. I enjoy the immature, as someone put it, kind of stories children playing with action figures tell as much as the more emotional and grim ones.

Indeed.

Adventure Time is the story of a boy and his magical dog, at it's core. Finn is a young boy, and never acts otherwise.

And when the children occasionally mutter something of deep value, It comes off much more impact-full.

So, I just watched all the seasons so far..

I watched one just to try it and got hooked instantly. Couldn't stop moving from one episode to the next.

This show is brilliant.

I would probably learn the system just to help. Anything involving a decent Adventure Time conversion would be nice.

The system works pretty well, in general. I'll probably post a recruitment thread when I get home from vacation.

Hopefully as fun as when, for a GURPS one-shot, my friends and I had Iron Man, Rorschach, Micheal Weston, and James Bond fight The Master and his army of Imps. Best game ever. Anyway, I'm planning on making a vampire. I'm thinking around 250 points, for character generation.

Exactly, it is that contrast that makes it meaningful.
I was almost crying by the end of "I Remember You."
I was certainly shocked into a mental and physical stillness.

Agreed. I watched "I remember you" because the title image was incredibly intriguing, and the episode was just fantastically poignant and very funny and rich.

So I watched "Holly Jolly Secrets", and it got me more intrigued about Finn and Jake than "I Remember You" did, so I went through it all.

"I Remember You" is definitely the best episode of the series, but the entire thing is charming and funny and so enthusiastic that I'd say it's just great.

If you want to do a GURPS game, I'm willing to brush up on the rules and join in.

Earlier in the thread I asked about doing a d20 game and someone suggested Legend as a good system, so I've been reading up on that to prepare for possibly doing a game later, so I have a couple of ideas as to what to play.

Well, I certainly am not going to search youtube and watch the episode. Because that would be wrong. Just like I've never heard of Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog and my screen name is certainly not based off that. I think that's obvious.
