Why don't we just finish the current plots and then restate ABR back to its beginning? Back to one panel comics?
What I think may be turning a lot of new people away is that when they do get done with their comic they're afraid that if they post it they might be causing another person to have to redo all of their hard work(which sometimes takes days to redo).
With one panel comics that take less time to make we might attract more people and rekindle intrest?

I don't really like this idea all that much. That's taken a step backwards. It took ABR around five threads before the first plot appeared. I think though, we could have the Random Fighting going on alongside the plots.

A bit less than three, actually. Fat Fish Fury appeared around the end of the second thread. There was also Mad Metal Massacre early in the third thread, but FFF absorbed it.

And the one-panel comics you mentioned are actually still being produced; they're just called Random Kills now. You can even find some on the most recent page of the current art thread.

A long time ago, someone was trying to reinstate the old "Only random kills" ABR, back when we had much more activity from many more participants, and in the end we stuck with the occasional random kill but with a focus remaining on plots, since that's what most people had started posting here for. Most newbies I think began posting because there was a plot (or two), where it felt like their actions actually meant something as opposed to just randomly killing one another back and forth, y'know?

On another note, colouring takes a looong time by tablet. -_-'

Only colour at the outlines, then use the filling tool and then colour over the little edge that is left. That's what I do.

Honestly, I really doubt that. Besides, if people want to make one panel comics, they're obviously free too.

I might just go for simpler colouring or black and white for future comics or until I stop being too cheap to get a professional art program.

I enjoyed it, at least.

I've recently attempted to use a tablet, but the results were so poor (could barely even navigate...) that I sort of abandoned the idea swiftly.

Just get Gimp then. It's free and almost as good as photoshop.

It may have something to do with our userbase aging over time, I was in secondary school when I first appeared in ABR and now I'm in university. Vastly different workloads.

I think this is funny. I just got a PM from some lurker or something asking if I was the leader of ABR.

Isn't that just the darndest thing?

I told them no, of course. I told them that there is no leader of ABR and I haven't even been in ABR that long. But the question still entertained me.
