What can I say... I still ship Serrin/Matt so this scene is not of my utmost liking; but I liked the jokes particularly the punchline.

Personally, I'd say yes. The writing style and Matt's last-panel-line keep it remarkably non-mushy, but the rooted-for sense of elation is there.

I read regularly but rarely post since ~~I'm super lazy~~ I feel the comics are already great without me voicing my opinion. This one however, was especially good so I felt like I had to comment. You asked if it was heartwarming and I would have to say yes. It was heartwarming in a realistic way, which is good since those moments can so easily become over-the-top or simply 'too perfect'.

I tip my hat to you, madam. (if I had one, that is)

Also Matt is my most favoritest character. Of all time. Forever.
