"I can't see your point there. An apocalyps is bad and many die bla bla. But people seem to miss something here. When they want someone dead who is known or a bit more powerful, this would be the best time. After all they could just say 'He died cause of the apocalypse.' I think thats the best reason to hide a assassination."

"True. But they have other things to worry about right now, like rebuilding from it."

Fade will sit down to watch TV now as well. He just notice the other two people by giving them a short watch.

"As I said still the best moment for assassination."

"It's also possible that truces were formed during it. As well, I believe we have somewhat established competition in a town called Riverside, a group by the name of SAINT. Our potential clients may be using them in preference, as they're better known."

She seems to calm down a bit. She offers a friendly nod in the direction of the other two members, but turns her attention back to Teq immediately.

She takes a deep breath and says:

"Sarah Bloodchanter. How about you?"

"Teq Vraal." Teq says simply, reaching into one of his pockets and drawing a tiny cardboard box. The label seems to have faded long ago.

Teq draws a dusty match, lighting it on the pool table with a satisfying spark. The hitman holds it to the tip of his cigarette, while his eyes drift over the other two assassins in the room. Then back to Sarah.

"So, Ms. Bloodchanter. I assume you work here."

Well, Warsh is off to get his personal chain of safehouses prepped. If it doesn't really seem like Peter has faith in MURDER, that's only because he doesn't trust MURDER as far as he could throw The Operative. Just because he has cast in his lot with the organization doesn't imply that he likes the members or particularly wants to work with them.

It's nothing personal. Just one of Warsh's profuse hangups.

Unless Warsh is accosted by someone during his exfiltration, he will make his way out of the Training Room, up the elevator, through The Front, and into the parking lot outside.

And now he is probably hopping astride a Harley!

Hey! I thought he ran here!

That Harley probably doesn't didn't even belong to him!

Warsh has activated a tiny radio attached to one of the handlebars of the hog.

"The Letter" by The Box Tops begins to play.

"Yeah, man."

With that, Warsh zooms away.

Rael will go sit down on... One of the chairs. Or the couch. Or whatever isn't currently occupied and it won't cause damage to; he's not feeling good right now.

He doesn't look too good, either. Sort of drained, like he lost a lot of blood recently.

If no-one stops him, the Quill Wolf he made will follow him onto the couch, and be fed on. He'll look rather better after it, although the Quill Wolf will look somewhat tired. Still, being a blood mage, and having had 275 years of practice, he's rather good at judging when such things become dangerous, and stops just short of that point, sealing the small wound in the creatures neck.

Fade sights, not cause of the things happend here more cause he is going to do something he don't realy likes.

"So we are 4 of the members here. May someone introduce himself to the other with skills and such? You know there is a chance that we have to work together since contracts are low."

Rael will walk over and say: "Interesting. What kind of healing do you do? I've always been interested in that particular field, and I'm hoping that you might be able to teach me some things."

"Good. We'll need a doctor." Teq says, nodding and plucking the cigarette out've his mouth. He holds the burning roll between two fingers, letting the smoke snake up into the air.

He gives Rael a glance, but otherwise is more curious about Sarah.

"What is a 'manipulation specialist'?"

In response to Rael, she responds simply.

"Bone repair, flesh stitching itself back together, the usual."


To Teq, she tenses a little at the question. It's not something she likes talking about, but her coworkers should probably at least know what she does.

"Well, try to imagine this. There's a crowded meeting hall where a Politician is giving a speech. In the middle of the speech, without provocation, one of the security guards pulls out his weapon and fires directly into the target's skull, killing him instantly. Said guard is later captured and interrogated, but cannot remember what happened, has no sign of enchantment magic on him, and is not lying about anything. The target is publicly murdered, and none of the evidence makes any sense when compared with the rest of it. That's the kind of Assassination I perform. When I'm getting bored, I might even just have the target commit suicide, but that's not quite as interesting. If I want to implicate no one at all, I can make them, say, 'accidentally' trip and fall into the garbage compactor. To not look both ways before crossing the street. Anything of the sort.

In short, I can orchestrate events at my whim, and no one can trace them."

Obviously a PC can darn well resist it if they don't want to be dominated, but you get the idea.

"Eh. I was more wondering about the "how" than the "what". As for the manipulation, that's a heck of a talent. I've got a little bit of the same type of skills, but nothing like that. Maybe you could teach me how to do it, if you don't have anything else that you've got to do at the moment."

Fade now starts to interact in the discussion as well.

"I don't think that's a good idea everyone should have theis special way to do the job. If you knew all we can, what would keep the oblivian away from only keeping you. That's just some little thoughts."

[C'nor]

Rael will ignore him, and say "As for me, it's probably easier to demonstrate."

If no-one stops him, he'll draw a short knife, and draw it across his palm. The blood from the wound will slowly pool in the air. When it's reached a good size, the wound will seal itself, and the blood will form into a large dark red raven, with a human mouth on its chest, and human arms where its feet should be.

Teq's eyes widen a little, and he pops the burning roll back between his mandibles. "That's an impressive ability, young lady." Teq makes a mental note not to get on her bad side. "I think I'm going to have some competition here."

The Vraal doesn't really seem to understand Fade, and he's more thoroughly distracted by the parody of life exiting Rael's body. "What good is that thing?" Teq asks neutrally.

The bird says "The one that created me - in this case, Rael - can see through me, and use me to, effectively, be in two places, or more, at once by speaking through me.".

They'll end up here after another ride in the elevator. There's a firing range and assault course, but neither of them are really important right now. What are important are the training dummies. Most of them are your standard plastic, some act as if they were flesh, and there are a few Myrs to mix things up.

"If you wouldn't mind, Kal, I'd like to see your proficiency with those knives and hatchets of yours. Preferably on the plastic or flesh targets."

"Nice bird. Noone would ever look shocked or remember a bird with a human mouth on his chest. I'm, but aren't assassins killing people without leaving anything special with what people can drag you down?"

[The Front]

After a brief cackling noise resounds across the room, a man appearing in his early twenties appears out of nowhere. The 6'3, brown-haired man walks up to the bar, unsure of what exactly to do.

He is aware that below this bar is the MURDER complex, but he is unsure of what the exact procedure is to make a contract. Talking to John Doe, perhaps?

[C'nor]

The bird dissolves into a mist of blood, which then flows up and into the vampire's slightly open mouth.

"Happy now? It's not like that's the only thing I can make."

He pauses for a moment.

"And, this is Nexus. It's no weirder than a lot of the stuff people see every day."

[The Front]

Most of the patrons ignore the noise and sudden appearance. They've gotten used to weird things happening, after all. The bartender, meanwhile, remains his bartending self, occasionally serving a drink or two.

"And still there are things that only a few can. i haven't seen anyone summoning such creatures befor, so tracking you down wouldn't be hard."

He sais that again in this monotone voice without emotions and such.

"Yes, but, as I do contract work making things like that for a living, it's going to be rather hard to trace the one used to me."
