The fog withdraws to the interior once again, and the hole seals itself.

He had intended to ask for a Magvehicle that could double as a boat and a car and drive to GLoG and then Gersemi's Island, but the telewarpers will definitely be faster.

Null Zone

Most of the Cult of Dalachrech has evacuated to the Abyss through Terrowin's emergency escape portal. The only two left are Deacon Terrowin of Xela's Howe, High Priest of Dalachrech, Twice-Survivor, and Reverend Narahar VI. They're described in my previous post.

The platemail-clad one, Terrowin, spots the two undescribed beings first. "Who are you and what's your purpose?" The half-elf stands there next to him and looks vaguely threatening.

WATCHTOWER- Main Room

There's a glowing orb on a table here, flashing periodically.

Missy and Edijar enter (godmodding for Wolfy). Missy looks around at everyone inside, mentally assessing their threat levels.

For the benefit of others, she and Edijar are both in ludicrously over the top power armour, though sadly for Kal, it's not the kind that comes with metal boobs and curves. It's not even clear it's a female wearing it. What a travesty!

((Happy hasn't been wheelchair bound since her resurrection. Remember her fighting bad guys (and hypothermia) on the island? Though since Happy didn't get carried over to the splinter timeline, you can make a cut scene of searching for her on Gersemi's Island. I have no idea if Lex is in on this plot or not, so you'll have to check with her about Melody.))

"We're also performing a noble act of self-sacrifice; just before we left our fortified Temple we closed a portal leading to the Realm of Dalachrech where we evacuated all the other members of the Cult of Dalachrech." I just remembered Terrowin owns an automatic pistol with a flintlock-style grip.

The metal man gestures towards what appears to be a rather ordinary white cat with a black collar, which is staring rather balefully at the two of them.
"The Movement of Fire must be freed." Repeats Kampilan.
"Rather generous of you, seeing as you're the one who had me bound in the first place." Says the cat.
"If I recall, you must unravel each of the five bindings present in the cat's collar, then remove the collar." Says Kampilan, pretending the cat hadn't just spoken.

Becket and co manage to get past the squidpig without much trouble. Seems the thing was just warning them to stay away from the person it was busy devouring. Wasn't intelligent, really. Just a really creepy animal.

Meanwhile!

The fellow pulled out of the rubble grabs a bit of wood and leans heavily on it. His leg is in downright awful shape. "Thanks for the help you two. Any idea where we're going? I'm not sure anywhere is safe anymore."

There is now a Zee puppet in the MagInfirmery. It will prove to be completely vegetative and non-responsive. Yay?

[National Park]

"We're here Father!" Divaonar calls out as he bounds over to Raril. "You should go without us. Bring someone else. We can fight and we'll be okay!"

The chimera rubs his head against Raril's arm, trying to encourage him to stand.

Meanwhile...

One of K'rax-Naggath's massive blazing eyes slowly opens as her body slowly begins to move. As with any of these horrific mountainous monsters even slight movements are enough to send tremors through the earth.

"Mother is awakening," Raven observes. "I doubt she will be pleased."

[DC Blowin' Stuff Up!]

The doom that DC is raining down on various Far things is pretty devastating. Though he hasn't attracted the attention of anything major yet. It's probably just a matter of time before something bigger notices that he looks tasteh...

"So either we're really, really really screwed, and we're all gonna die tonight, or we're all just really screwed, and we might make it a few years if we're lucky." She says. "And either way, we're going to be stuck in a building together for the duration of the time." The ice elf shakes her head, chuckling darkly.
"What, HALO?" Moon replies, snorting. "Those rabbits? Yeah right. They've probably got some sort of anti-doomsday shield that takes them even deeper into the sea so they can live out the rest of life on Nexus having mad, poorly thought out and barely justified sex."

The stranger might not have time, but MagSquid's more than willing to hold people back, just on the off-chance someone's trying to smuggle a shoggoth or a cripple through the door.
