Hello all. This will be the new OOC, I'll reserve the first five posts for my junk And now a message from our DM
OK, honestly I may have bitten off a teensy bit more then I can chew Anywho ass a result I'll be withdrawing a bit to the level of DMing I had intended for this game. Essentially all NPC "minor nations" are taking nurf/their inhabitants giving ground. This means land will be easier to claim. Individual cases: Gi backing will be lowered, the planes will offer little resistance, the islands to the north... well it'll still be fun, but there won't be as good of chances for massive losses in your nation. Dwarves will become a minor mining nation with open trade with all who ask. Major nations (white fleet, stone mountain, gaiad, and dark storm as well as grog's place will remain). Moonlit I've held you up long enough with thee delays that it's getting silly. I'm gonna allow you to teleport your nation on over and take the days you lost (everyone else lost days are lost) Anything I'm forgetting? (that means lexin, and crafty are fighting, Jack I never got the stats for the army outside your door, so I'm going to assume they succumbed to your wards and were turned away), anywho originally this was meant to be more PC-PC, rather then so much PC-NPC, so lets get at it.

Remember, Saturday night/Sunday morning midnight GMT. The GMT time doesn't need to make it alien, Sunday morning it's still a new day. I'll allow some leeway though I'm not rolling with people coming in once/month to take five days...
I just have been completely too busy doing other things to even do the taxes/purchasing things/etc for the days I already missed. I really need to get to work on that and other things...

I hear ya, hence why I keep pointing out that there is no penalty to not taking actions. You get the same funds as everyone else, and we're going 1day/week so that people with no time won't miss out much while those with tie can get stuff done. Eventually I'll shift it up for time to pass faster, and more will happen.
It is rather hard to do some things in one day if weeks pass without DM response (Apparently I've spent two days waiting to see if I successfully used Discern Location on a vampire while scrying on it and seeing it do nothing of interest, while still in a misted area). I was planning on trying to contact them before going into battle. Should I proceed assuming I located the vampire, unless my kingdom is attacked, I'd wait before I'd make the first strike.

True. So would everyone prefer a slower IC/OOC time flow? (seems to be what I'm hearing more of now...) I heard many complaints to the reverse before starting that nations would rather do less and have more time pass so that they could better establish their nations. Everyone feel free to vote.
See, I don't think the problem is the time flow. One week = 1 IC day is plenty slow, seems to me. But this only works if the DM responds... we don't need full-out battles from you, but answers about the land around us really help.
I'd prefer to slow things down. The game is bound to slow down and speed up depending on how quickly everyone posts, and having a set schedule can mean that a lack of responses can push short events into week long ones in the current setup.
Moonlit: you mean to those questions you posted less then 24 hours ago? I've had DMs take over a month before, it's kinda silly to be so impatient...
Anywho I'm gonna wait until I have most of the votes before I change anything for now.
1 week - 1 day routine works for me.
I have a lot to do right now so I might miss few days IC, but unless something big happens I don't have much to do.
