You're fighting a stoner right now, heh. You just hit him. I'm loving the class and I'm DMing a friend playing one at the moment. It seems fairly balanced and fun, if a bit high-powered. Consider changing the fluff if the DM doesn't deem it serious enough :P

It's them not being perfect. They suffer from the environment too so they couldn't understand perfectly what was happening, just that some spells were thrown around after the fight (the sniper doesn't have Spellcraft so he presumes healing wounded allies and not stabilizing enemies), one of the two acolytes was down and the other was about to talk. Yes, I'm making rolls on my desk.
Also, you played it well so some kind of reward is only right. Now you have something to work with in case you want to follow that hook.

I've got an idea of something to do, but first, are there any items of interest on the human man? We searched the elf, but Melchia's currently searching the other guy.

As to whether the prisoner is being restrained, Melchia asked Rubido to train his weapon on him, in such a way as to suggest that any funny business would be met with a swift and unpleasant opening of a new orifice in his neck.
Myself not being the player of Rubido, I can't say if this request was obeyed or not.

Plot summary: you're going to visit the Black Guardian, past the Dark Wood, because the gypsy boss told you he might know why the priest of Galsaff is cursed (the twisted room and his bad luck and so on). You heard the guardian likes seeds, so you bought some. You're missing some rarer ones like the seed of a glowing moss, a peculiar sequoia pinecone, and the bulb of a carnivore plant that is typical of the forest you're in now.
You decided to go search for some of these seeds in the Dark Wood before going to the Black Guardian. And now you're in an area with some glowing moss wink wink.
In the meanwhile, you got these Deep worshippers on your heels for whatever reason (muhaha secretly intertwining plot threads).
Sober post will come up sometime tomorrow.
Also, apologies if the game moves slow but it can only go as fast as the slower posters. XP is somewhere mid-level 2. Might give you a level up soon if you do fun stuff (the last fight was), if only to give you more hp breathing room and some oomph with your builds, they need it.

This game is already among the longest-living I'm in. I don't really mind it being a bit slow. In my experience a breakneck pace generally falls apart quickly and kills the game when it does.
Fun stuff = roleplaying, too?
EDIT: The cool thing with a slow-ish PbP is that, once I reveal a secret I've been keeping, anyone who reads through the threat will see small signs from almost the very beginning. It allows one to build in small details into posts which gain significance later.

PbP is so much different than RL playing... it's almost a different game. You can craft your character much better, RP-wise. And I can postpone making encounters until it's time to roll initiative. :p
Yes, it's not that bad if the game is slow. In order to be a bit faster, it would need one of the PCs to decide for the group quickly. You seem to like talking things through, so it's natural that it flows slower. Nothing bad with that, as long as people are entertained.

Okay, semi-serious test for your sensibility, to get a hunch of how much I can push the campaign. Google orvillecopter and tell me what you think of it.
Also checking whether you saw my last IC post since the forum is malfunctioning a bit.
By the way, I will appreciate comments/critiques on the campaign so far, and possibly input on what you'd like to see more.
