With 2 power points remaining, and the rest of the party heavily injured, Melchia's not going to try and catch him. He's bought some 4 hours of peace before the Suggestion wears off, but he'd rather spend the time recuperating, etc. Maybe Otrino will have some ideas once he regains consciousness.

Eh, honestly, I'm standing next to the zombie to make Rubido 10% more likely to hit, not to wow everyone with my 1d4+1 damage. I'll stay with what I have.
Hey mucco, I don't know if you're waiting on my action or not, but I honestly have no idea if I can productively contribute to the rest of the encounter. Feel free to wrap things up if you wish. If Rubido gets knocked out, that's another story...

I kind of stood waiting for Rubido's post, then got overwhelmed with RL. I might be vacant for a few more days, should have mentioned it, sorry about that. I'm moving to the States so I'm having my hands quite full at the moment!

I hope we level soon. In the short term, at least, my build is pretty...eh. It's quite bad, actually, for now at least, and I'm considering just going full Cleric so I'm not that far behind in casting.
I hope the whole 'we basically saved the town/village/mud hole' thing outweighs the 'we tricked the mayor' part if the mayor gets the idea to chase after us once all that magic on him wears off.
Take a level in: Master Specialist (conjurer)
HP: (1d4+2)[3]
Increase: INT to 19, Will to +5
Take the feat: Skill Focus (spellcraft)bonus
Put 1/2 ranks in: Bluff, Speak Language
Put 1 rank in: Concentration, Knowledge (arcana), Knowledge (dungeoneering), Knowledge (the planes), Spellcraft
Learn new spells: undecided, undecided. I'm leaning towards Glitterdust and Snake's Swiftness, but wanted your thoughts.
EDIT: does anyone want to be on a horse today?

Melchia takes another level in Telepath. (1d4+2)[5] hp
INT goes to 18
Skill ranks: 1 Concentration, 1 Intimidate, 1 Knowledge (psionics), 2 Sense Motive, 1 Diplomacy.
BAB and base Will save go up by 1.
New powers: Mind Thrust and Id Insinuation.
Max power points increases to 25!
Also, Otrino should definitely take Glitterdust. That spell is The One.

Z, remember your d4 has a minimum of 2, and CTP, remember you can swap out one power this level.
Glitterdust is a God spell, Snake's Swiftness is a buffer spell. What do you want to play? I might add that, if you focus on summoning, Mass Snake's Swiftness will prove useful so if you want to keep the theme you might pick the lesser one.

Well, I get two new spells each level, so it's not a matter of choosing between the two I mentioned. Rather, I'm throwing the floor open to suggestions - if CTP, PersonMan, or Rion really wants a different spell, I'd be happy to take it instead of the ones I picked.
Also, Gods buff.

Cool, in that case I will switch out Psionic Daze for Vigor. (My first non-telepathy power, I believe...)
Also, what are Otrino's banned schools?
Evocation, illusion, and necromancy. In hindsight, given your specialties and the number of undead floating around, I'd have been better off barring enchantment and keeping necromancy, but oh well.

This will involve some marginal changes to my spellbook, swapping out charm person for something else (perhaps one of those first-level scrolls I want to buy?) and swapping out daze for disrupt undead and touch of fatigue. Is that alright?

What is the gp limit/availability of magic items in this town? Grabbing some holy water might work in a pinch, but nabbing a dorje (psionic wand) of Energy Ray would be better; a ML 1st dorje costs 750 gp. If Selia could return what she owes Melchia (some 150 gp), he'd be able to afford such an item, which would give him an option against the undead.
Actually, instead of Energy Ray, Entangling Ectoplasm might be a better choice; a debuff that's not dependent on ML, that will still be useful for a few levels at least.
