I do not need that. I can cast it once per day as a sylph. And (I hope) I can fly by level 11. If not then by level 15. It will depend highly on if Mika can get here hands on a robe of the archmage. If not then I go for robes of arcane heritage.

Lyle and Mika make for a small side-chamber, finding a office/private bedroom more or less intact/ A ledger open on a small folding desk mentions fifteen names and their share of a haul adding up to about 500 gold pieces, a count supported by the number of bunks in the building. A small, but surprisingly weighty strong box sits undisturbed under the bed in the private room.

Maybe. It's going to attempt to haul you in on its turn. If it succeeds, you will need to roll a concentration check due to violent motion (DC 15+spell level). If it fails, you won't need a concentration check. Being attached to the filament itself doesn't hurt your concentration (though it will prevent you from moving further away from the creature).

Although I'd tweak the feat Wandsmithing as it levels up wrongly, instead of 5th is 1st lv and (+1 4 levels after), I'd do 4 and every 4 levels after as progression.
But still makes wands very useful.

Maybe, it needs more charges at level 1 I agree.
Maybe it should get two real wands or 2 eternal wands, Wandslinger choice at 1st (both are only usable by wandslinger, so low gp cost).
So you get infinite uses/career, or great uses for first few levels before it runs dry.
But it gets Dex to damage for wands and deadly aim works on them. Yeah, I'll admit, only have 4/day shots at level 1 seems wrong as you'll have to switch to non-wand too fast.
By level 2/3, you can buy/acquire a wand so not problem, but till then it seems troublesome.
You'll need to buy a wand of whatever 0th level you get I guess (eternal wands are only good because they restore each day, regular wands don't but more shots)
I'd go with acid splash or ray of frost. 1d3+dex+Deadly aim is not as good as a gun, but no misfire.
He gets a Grit ability though letting him addd Wandslinger lv instead of wand level for caster (so caster 3 scorching ray wands are amazing with used by lv 7 Wandslinger).
Yeah, a regular wand of ray of frost or similar (or a special, self only infinite wand, or wand reparable to X uses each day) would probably get you over the hump.
As you have noticed I have been away for several weeks. This disappearance is due from a combination of fighting with my internet service provider and with a business conference. My ISP has been giving me a problem with a billing statement which took several days to resolve during which I have had no internet and then my modem has begun to malfunction, kicking me off of the internet at random for several hours at a time(I am in fact typing this up offline, waiting for the internet to come back up). To compound problems, I had to meet with a potential employer and went to a hotel for several days (Last Monday to this Sunday). The hotel informed me that I would be provided with free internet but when I got there they refused service unless I paid for an upgrade fee of $50 per day (This included a pool and fitness area that they were in the process of renovating. I could not only get internet). The closest free internet that I could find was a Starbucks which took 15 minutes to drive too (Note, I did not have a car at this time.)
I am sorry for delaying any of the games that I am in. Since I have a training conference next week in another hotel and my internet is still having problems, I cannot make any promise that I will be able to post with any type of frequency. Thus, I must bow out of all of my games. I hope that I will be able to solve these problems by the end of next month and be able to return to reliable enough posting to possibly rejoin games and/or join in new games. Again I apologize to all of my DMs (Bhaakon, Snowbody, and Meemas) and to all other players of the games that I am in.
