I thought the group & the notes summarized his back-story, but I can think up a more in a few days. On that note, I was wondering if we could have a pre-game, where each character's story is developed along with their first interactions with each-other.
I'm interested in joining. I actually have the crunch of a character ready and a backstory in mind. I had planned this character to be american however so I need to work out a few details of this being Poland.
You're nore than welcome to join. Concept wise, what are you thinking?

Young enough to be an exchange student or studying abroad? We could hook up our characters' background to get a nice chain going on. Maybe we take some of the same classes, I'm one of the few there that actually have a good grasp on English.
Oooh, another player. Nice to have another Hunter on the field. Looking forward to concept and crunch.
By the way Morty, here are those reloading rules:

Reloading bullet casings is an extended action, demanding a number of successes based on the complexity of the bullets desired. Normal bullets or shotgun shells, such as those purchased at a gun store or a retailer like Wal-Mart, require only six successes. More complicated, 'special' rounds (any of the unique ammo listed on pg 82-89 [these are bullets like armor piercing, match grade, and more Hunter-esque ones like cold iron or silver]) require 12 successes.
As a general rule, assume that completing the task results in a box of finished ammunition, approximately 30 shells. With normal ammo, one success creates about 5 bullets. With custom shells, one success makes two.
Reloading is a complicated enough procedure to require the equipment that comes with a reloading bench. Without this, a character may still make the attempt, but acts at a -5 dice pool to do so.
Roll Results
Dramatic Failure: Dramatic failure results in a handful (5-10) seemingly workable bullets. Using these bullets in a gun, however, causes them to discharge imporperly and damage the gun, and potentially, the shooter.
Failure: At the Storyteller's discretion, sccesses that fall short of the six or 12 required may still grant the character a handful of bullets. No successes at all means no bullets are made.
Success: The character reloads a box of ammunition: 30 rounds of normal ammunition or 24 rounds of unique ammunition.
Exceptional Succes: The character perfroms the reloading with startling speed, cutting his time dramatically.
Suggested Equipment: Reloading Bench (+2), high-quality shells and bullets (+1), quiet work space (+1+
Possible penalties: No reloading bench (-5), No Firearms score (-1), Distractions (-1)
Now, know that if those rules are allowed, I'm not planning on having Lazlo take every opportunity to make super-custom-match-grade-incendiary-armor-piercing-death bullets. But occasionally it would be fun for him to put his gunsmithing to good use and turn some of our peashooters into howitzers.

I thought about that, but while it's something of a standard practice in WoD games, it would take too much time in PbP format. As for your backstory, I would rather have it in a coherent format rather than in the form of notes and discussion in the thread, yes.

Those look fine. It takes time and tools, so it's not like he'll be cranking out super-gear to turn the entire cell into action heroes. You're free to use them.
As for adapting your character concept to Poland, ShadowCaller, there are many possibilities. Apart from an exchange student or studying abroad, your character could also have followed a family member to Poland or inherited something there.

We could make it 5-10 posts tops, & spend maybe a day or three developing it; but if that is the way it has to be I'll see if I can think of something.
The concept I had was a stunt woman from the USA, I'm still pondering the reasons why she would go to Poland but I think it was the fact she couldn't get any jobs in the states and got the offer to work in Europe.
I got a pretty got concept of her character otherwise.
It's still alive, don't worry. I'm waiting for ShadowCaller's character and ocel's character's backstory. We'll start as soon as I get them... or without them if it takes too long.

Well then, expect an OOC and IC thread from me later today. I would have done it earlier, but things got in my way. Everyone who submitted a character sheet is in, althought I'm still waiting on a backstory from Ocel.
