Re: Hero's Quest (or, Why Prince Charming Stayed Single)
Heehee, I like Hero - he seems like the kind of person who doesn't know his own strength.
I have to say though, in the panel where he's got his hands over his eyes, it looks like he's playing peekaboo (and I realise that's just a limitation of the three-fingered hand, I just couldn't help myself but mention it).

Probably something to do with Lady Red
I loved this. The last panel made me crack up laughing... which turned into a cough - drat you woman! You know I have a cold!
I love that he wears his crown over his sleeping hat thing (what are those things called?)... his chamberlain guy keeps making me think Lobot from Star Wars though...

Or you could stop being funny

More of an observation... Lobot is the guy on Cloud City/Bespin who hovers in the background behind Lando and has the funny thing around his head with the lights flashing. And... that was a really bad explanation. This guy. The chamberlain's hair makes me think Lobot for some reason.

I think you'd have more luck trying to teach pigs to fly than trying to get me to stop being funny

Actually, they're both perfectly legitimate variations. Personally I prefer 'all right' as two words, but there's nothing wrong with the contracted version

That's what happens when you know your way around Photoshop as well as Inkscape (Made the base flame shape in Inkscape, used it as a brush in Photoshop to make the fire, then imported that to Inkscape -- not that you'd really care about the details )

Both are valid, and "alright" reads as more casual to me, so I deliberately chose it as I was aiming for a "sure, whatever" tone rather than a "very well" tone to his statement

Well it worked that's exactly how I read it.

Of the four panels the blacksmiths are in:
1: working
2: "Arg! My hand!" "Oh, no, did I hit you?!"
3: "Hahahahaha! I got you!" "Not funny!"
4: working
I did that, then realized I had to put the main characters right on top of the action Figured it was better to leave them in than to have a boring blank wall in the background.

Yep, taller and skinnier. The first sketches were using actual stick figures (stick for a body), which I actually prefer for being able to show action/emotion as you can curve the bodies easily. But I wanted clothes as well, so I compromised

Well, just walking along a flat wall is so boring! And perspective isn't hard, so I decided to mix things up a bit.
