Hippogriffs are aggressive flying creatures that combine features of horses and giant eagles. Voracious omnivores, hippogriffs will hunt humanoids as readily as any other meal. A typical hippogriff is 9 feet long, has a wingspan of 20 feet, and weighs 1,000 pounds.
[edit] Combat
Hippogriffs dive at their prey and strike with their clawed forelegs. When they cannot dive, they slash with claws and beak. Mated pairs and flights of these creatures attack in concert, diving repeatedly to drive away or kill intruders. Hippogriffs fight to the death to defend their nests and their hatchlings, which are prized as aerial mounts and fetch a handsome price in many civilized areas.
Skills: Hippogriffs have a +4 racial bonus on Spot checks.

Kanros opens the gate and his position is not detected in the chaos of the battle
The slaves come in and start slinging away, shouting and screaming and eager to kill the guards that opressed them for so long. The slaves still caged run to aproach the suddenly opening gate, eager to join the rebelion and get their revenge on their evil masters.

Uidon steps back slightly and drops his hips as he deflects the Ogre's swing away with his shield and swings across his body trapping the swordman's blades on his own guard. the spearmen lunge in hoping to spit the distracted warrior but he flickers at the last moment, barely pulling away from being perforated.
And then the most beautiful sound floats across the battle field. To Uidon it sounded like freedom, the first sound he had really heard that was something other than struggle. He swung his sword back into his attackers without noticing he stepped in rhythm or that he hummed tunelessly along.

Korin staggers under the weight of the ogre's blows, but he meets the beast's rage with calm fury. Lightning crackles along the length of his blade as he takes another forceful swing.
Spoiler
Channeling shocking grasp and attacking the ogre
attack(1d20+9)[21]
damage(1d8+19)[20]
shocking grasp damage(5d6)[12]
after the attack, taking a 5ft step to G7
Uidon whips his sword out of the Ogre and deflects a spear blow while swaying out of range of the swordsman. When the Ogre begins to roar Uidon presses the attack in timing with Korin knowing that an angry Ogre is more dangerous than a dead one.
Spoiler
AoO @ Slaver (G,10 I think): Attack (1d20+13)[19], Damage (1d8+4)[6]
Taking this next action before Korin moves out of flank.
Full Attack (@Ogre, -2 Combat Expertise):
Attack (1d20+12)[29], Damage, (1d8+7)[14] + [edit] 3 Damage Morale (Forgot to add Inspire Courage)
Attack (1d20+7)[20], Damage, (1d8+7)[9] + [edit] 3 Damage Morale (Forgot to add Inspire Courage)
Swift: None
Xilef miss the fleeing archer because of the arrow she just received, immediatly thereafter she receive two more. By now she was bleeding heavily and barely able to stand but she remain proud. She scream a wordless roar of her defiance and then growl toward the other slave. "Attack the other archers"
She then move toward the wound archer, but more carrefully this time and once in place she strike calling once more on the Great tiger to help heal her wound.
OOC: Free action: Use an action point to emulate martial study (crusader's strike)
Free action: Begin fighting defensively (-4 to att, +2 to AC)
Move action: Move in I2
Standard action: Crusader's strike
Finding his options limited, Kanros ends his focus on the serpent and instead rushes toward the cliff. The slight man attempts to climb up, using the fallen rope bridge as a ladder.
Spoiler
Full-round action to double-move to K11, 10ft up if the following check is successful. As Kanros didn't take a Standard action to concentrate on his minor image spell, the effect will end in three rounds.

Korin deals another massive blow at the ogre overseer
Uidon helps with two strong attacks
Seanon's apes kill one swrodsman and wound a spearman, his magic dosen't affet the ogre in full power
Xilef is shot several times, but manages to kill another archer, regaining some life energy on the strike
Karnos start moving to the clifftop, still invisible
The slaves trow one archer from the clifftop, and the slingers kill one clubman
The ogre, after being hit by very powerfull attacks, spill a large amount of blood from his body. He swings at the ground a few more times, right in the place Korin was, while droping down to one knee and losing the grasp of his greatclub. He is no longer roaring, raging, or even breathing. He slowly falls to the ground, trying to get up but absolutely unable to do so. Just then he realizes his internal organs are spilled all over the ground. The ogre is doomed.
Finally, only 5 slavers remain:
one that surrendered,
one fleeing the battle (now about 100ft from you)
one surrounded by 2 apes, Uidon, and Korin. He screams for mercy and surrenders.
one that just crushed at the ground, and is getting swarmed by slaves
and an archer at the clifftop. He knows that either he kills Xilef or Xilef will kill him. He takes his shot
archer VS xilef: (1d20+6)[22], damage (1d8+5)[6],(1d20+6)[17], damage (1d8+5)[10]
The archer sees one of his arrows - the seventh arrow! - to hit xilef, but the second misses. The fear becomes evident on his eyes when he realizes he's the next to die, as soon as xilef closes in.

The archer starts loking arround, as if looking for some path to escape. He decides to bet on his luck and drops his bow, terrified to see Xilef surviving seven arrowshots, one right in the chest.
