Reinholdt approaches Will. "Hey. So, we might have accommodations in the village. Only problem is, you fought with their leader shaman like person. Normally I'd just say wait here for the night, but it seems that something in the forest tends to attack at night and the torches in the village keep it away. We didn't check exactly what."

Aurea raises her hands and tries to cast the spell on both Will and Reinholdt, so they can understand and talk to the lizardfolk. Then she returns to her brooding. Aurea wordlessly follows Rein back. No, threatening him would show her fear and would be highly immature as well. She was a grown woman can deal with problems reasonably, without hiding behind her father. She would have to gain safety from the cat by being useful and friendly to him.

The reptile-women are already lighting the torches around the camp when the group returns. It smells like a few fresh kills are roasting somewhere inside of the camp. The odor may cause a few members to begin watering at the mouth as the scent wafts toward their nostrils. Liz appears to be waiting for the group to return. She greets them as they approach.

The wail of a siren fills the air, as an armored firetruck races down the road to CURATOR, a massive sheet of metal with burnt skeletons and rusty spikes welded onto it chained to the front. The firetruck careens wildly as it approaches the base, the driver obviously never having driven such vehicle in his life, and it shows no signs of slowing down as it approaches the archeological institute.
Unless someone stops it, the firetruck is going to crash right into CURATOR.

Reinholdt decides to just rapidly unload his visible sniper rifle and hidden pistol, rather than launch into questions as to how such a primitive village knows about guns. Of course, he still has a belt knife, an animal skin shirt that turns him into a big tiger, and a bazillion hammer spaced weapons. But he figures unloading the hidden pistol he keeps on his person should be enough to satisfy her in terms of weaponry.
He offers Liz the ammo clips.

Reinholdt said that he had it covered, so Aurea just stays where she is. She has no weapons on her, if Liz really does care about security. Of course, she is a weapon, and a rather potent one at that. But they don't need to know.

Will will give her his blaze, if she actually cares and wasn't just using that as a potential excuse to search Reinholdt.
Though pretty clearly that doesn't do much to disarm the thing with superhuman strength that's covered in spikes and armor.

Liz doesn't move to confiscate the ammunition. She only requested that the weapons be unloaded, not that they be surrendered. When beings are no longer sober, they generally are more lax when it comes to gun safety.
Guns aren't as uncommon here as one would surmise. In fact, guns are fairly commonplace! They aren't as advanced as the pieces Reinholdt and Will are carrying, but they are muzzle-loaded breech-firing projectile launchers.
Liz is visibly disappointed in Rein's response to her request. She reeeeally wanted to thoroughly search him!
"Alrighty then."
Liz smiles. Drat! Now she's going to have to find another excuse to get close to Rein!
"If you'll just follow me, we can head to dinner."
Liz turns about and walks deeper into the village without waiting for a response from any members of the relic-seeking group, hips swaying lasciviously as she does so.
