There's seriously so much going on. It must have taken forever to draw #6.
It took a while, but I'd prepared most of the random people in advance. I like just drawing random characters, so I have a pallet of them to pick from.
I was actually a bit disappointing I didn't have more room to put stuff in the background, you're actually pretty squeezed for space when it comes to it!

Yep, pretty much. The magic plant thing is a cure for Little Lucy. I tried to look up DnD herbal cures and magic plants, but couldn't find any source material. Seems strange that they don't exist, but I guess they didn't want magical effects to be so easily available.
If anybody knows any source material which details magical plants/herbs and stuff, I'd be interested to know which book it's in?
Well to celebrate the start of Page 2, and to hurry towards our plot hook (just a couple more strips!), here's issue #7 (I think?) It's also in the OP.
Please tell me she died? Why would that be a good thing? Good comic though I like the way you set up for the net page.
She doesn't need the cure. If she didn't die, Ace knows it must mean King saved her. Ace was hoping King was tied up on a mountain, so he hoped she'd died.
In my head, even female dwarves should have beards. That's how beardy they are. I'm not sure if that's actually how it works in DnD though...
Dannae get yer gnomes a'scatterin, RAW's got yer back!

Dwarf men value their beards highly and groom them very carefully.
The quotes seem irrelevant, but seriously - that's ALL it says in relation to dwarf women throughout the races chapter, so, theoretically, a dwarf lass can grow a beard, but they do not necessarily value them as much as, or in the same way as man-dwarves.

^^Good to know, I'm pretty certain that female Dwarves in Lord of the Rings had beards too. Given how much DnD is inspired by LotR, we can assume the default position is females=bearded!
Anyway, here's issue #8. Unfortunately the forums are running really slow and I have to go out soon, so I will have to edit it into the OP later today.
I'm gonna be against the flow here and say outlined.
What? Everyone else are against the flow too, okay?

I've decided to clear out some of my buffer, Burlew is right that you're never happy with your buffer if you keep it sitting around for a while. So I'm going to upload new comics from today until Friday, 4 new comics this week!
Here's issue #9, where we get our first whiff of the plot:
I see the intro's (almost?) done... so the adventure begins. atleast they keep score, I laughed...
and here's why(also, Nitpick Alert!):
-Okay, so lady carnival is worried about her son running away, but shouldn't she be more worried about that dangerously swollen cheek as seen in panels 4 and 7-9? that thing (i'm not sure whether to call it blush or a tumor) is practically in her mouth... I would try bending the pink circle's nodes around the mouth...
-panels 5 and 9: *giggles* I almost forgot about the mustaches, I tried to stop looking at them that way, but those look a lot like them... though it is still clear that she's in distress, way to go...
- those aside, they screwed each other over 73 times? this means war!

Madame Carnival's cheek is supposed to be like big and flabby, so it goes over her mouth in most cases. I should have put a black line near it though, oh the power of reflection!
To be honest, Madame Carnival is one of the first people I drew and I really messed up some of her components, so putting her in the comics was enough trouble as it was! I was glad to be done with her.
And the last strip for this week, #12. I'm kind of excited for Tuesday's strip because it marks a certain milestone. A milestone I thought I'd reach before this point, to be honest!
I don't know how much people know about Bacchae, they're in the Fiend Folio. They're basically stereotyped gypsies. All they do is party and get drunk (and encourage other people to do the same). If you get sucked into a group of Bacchae and start to party with them, you become a Bacchae too.
Should I pity Poppy, or be happy for her?
apparently she can't cast a cantrip right to save her life,
and yet she can blind people with her nose!
let them mock all they want - that's more impressive than a glowing rock!

Well, a fighter can't cast catnips ether, and Roy seems to get along fine...
Yes they can, not a weapon, but drives cats crazy.
Now, while fighters don't get spells either, atleast they get over a dozen feats and full BAB.
Roy may be able to hit hard, but poppy can replicate the effect of a 2nd level spell BEFORE gaining her first level of wizard - I sense a savant in that flashback!
