Miradal heads over to the other cylinder box thing, and clamps the cord at te base again, while keeping it taut.

"And... that should do for that. Moving on! Why do I suddenly feel rather like the doctor? Oh right, always leaping without more than a glance. Well, life's more exciting that way anyway!"

She then heads down the tunnel.

"It's why I became an officer of the law. Grab a gun grab an axe and spend every day looking for trouble" She hops down after you.

"I can collapse a building, can your gun? Perhaps your gun can chase people through the air and underwater as well? Can your gun burn down a building? Do you think you can kill me with your gun before I kill you? What use is your gun? Why do you think I don't use them? Even my child could kill you and then melt your gun. Might be more fun to melt it while you hold it. Not fun for you maybe, but then, I'm not the one stalking you... if I was, would you rely on your gun? Do you know how to hunt? To pounce? To rend limb from limb before eating the viscera?" Miradal smiles and in the dark the inside of her mouth glows with heat, shimmering off of the wall and casting a shimmering veil of heat across her face. "No, I didn't think so."

"Move a mountain with a spell impress no one, move a mountain with a shovel impress everyone. I do not know how to hunt in the primal sense but I make do." She moves ahead of you and turns the corner.

"If I were going to attempt to move a mountain... I would use my shoulders and my back. If you're talking about me when you speak of magic, then you've got the wrong person. I know nothing of the arcane aside from a few rituals which take hours, days, weeks, and in one case... can take years. None of which are useful in any normal way. One makes non dragons into dragons. One grants another your strengths, even knowledge or strength of will. One is for communication, and the last one is for the creation of a portal. I'll teach you the communication ritual if you like, though I understand it normally drives any non-dragons either insane, or into a vegetative state. Connection to a divine mind apparently has that effect on your puny and insignificant brains."

"A dragon is strong it is powerful. These are facts in this world but for it to tear a giant is a tremendous feat but for a little puny being to stand at a giant and say "I will not fall here" and his words become true that is a feat unlike any other."

One of the two men pulls Niquo aside and looks around for a second or two than points at Miradal. He swirls his finger around his ear. As Alie steps into the darkness it becomes even more difficult to see.

"Yes, well, as you can see... I'm not a giant. Also, very short as dragons go." ((Alie has darkvision, and low-light vision.))

His vision is still fuzzy (roll a fortitude save on that to clear your vision)

Miradal chuckles. "Not so big a feat as some might think. I've met many mortal men that were worthy of a great deal of respect. Humans living up in the mountains of Norway are often the type you speak of. I suppose it must have something to do with the environment, and the conditions under which those men live."

Niuqu looks at the soldier funny, "You're just now discovering this?"

" I need to spend a month or two in Serbia so I can come back stronger. City life has made me weak." As you proceed relatively unbothered you come across an Otyugth. It has a broken pipe that it is chugging.

[Ralasha]

Miradal ignores it, and continues on the way, if said monster is in the way, miradal attempts to suggest it move, assuming it understands. If not, miradal attempts to open the ceiling.

It raises a tentacle that has eyes on it, the otyugth presses itself against the wall to give you and the officer room to pass and when you do it begins following you rather obviously and casually. Due to its size the others have a bit of difficulty to pass.

[Ralasha]

Miradal pats it on the head with a smile as she walks past.

It lets out a visible fog of breath smelling of flowers, rotten fish , and vinegar. Than it continues to follow you. (Still waiting on that roll alie)

Miradal heads back, picks up Alie, and puts him in her backpack. Then continues out into the bright light.

Before you is the absolute ruins of a city. Though it never seemed to be a good city. What stands are crumbled towers made of rusted steel, of stacked cracked stone. Between them are huts made of similiar material. A bolt of energy races along them. All of this is quite a distance down perhaps 200 feet. There is a set of stairs going down that has "Welcome to the scum of New York." spray painted along each step in different colors and in different languages. The stairs match everything before you. They seem very thin.

"Right, so, who doesn't want to trust the stairs?"

[Isenvrill]

"We'll I'm going to fly down whether I do or don't trust the stairs. I'm not overly fond of them."

The otyugh begins climbing down the stairs with each step there is a loud creak "You know trolls and ogres walk this way." says the otyugh it sounds like its mouth is full.

[Ralasha]

"Odd, somehow I always imagined them walking very differently."

"Well they take bigger foot falls" he wobbles for a moment or two and lurches forward and starts to roll down the stairs "Help please"

Miradal will leap down, grab it, and glide to the bottom.

Counts against carrying capacity. I also count as huge for the puroses of grappling, and carrying weight. Oh, and for whether or not special attacks can work, such as swallow whole.

You manage to stop the otyugth without his weight dragging you along while Niquo disappears "My thanks lady of fire if you need help along the sewers I am an expert. Nothing happens around here that I haven't heard at least twice."

"So then, this isn't the first time you've rolled down the stairs. Very good to have such an escort. May I inquire as to your name?"
