"Sadly no, they keep things together mostly but sometimes people can't just get food so they take what they can catch. Anywho where are you off to? If you're looking for something to eat I'd suggest the feathery flying one."

"Well I've always found Soylent Green to taste strangely like people. Must be a trick of the mind though. the beastie rubs it's head for a moment. "So where am I going to take you and the police officers to?"

"We're making our way to the harbor searching for this individual." She pulls out a photo of a young man with a bandanna tied around his head and a muscle man shirt with his pants barely hanging on him.The photo is dated 2001. The otyugh examines the photo with the eyes on his tentacle "I know that guy he was hiring a bunch of underfolk for a job and just fired a bunch of them. My buddy Tony used to work for him he can show you the way lickety split"

Re: Coming to America and being evil. A modern 3.5 game
Shlick bows to Alie for a moment and picks up the pace leading you all through the sewers. In about thirty minutes you find yourself at the end of a tunnel where a vault door is blocking your path. "Through there is where I last saw that guy. I would open the door but he changes the locks and the wards every couple of days, careful the doors trapped. And Capek isn't one to be surprised."
(Well it would be rude of me to keep a lady in waiting.)

Mira finds something hard, such as a brick... or a pipe. And sucks it at the door. failing that, she licks her finger and singes '101' in nice big characters into the surface of the door.

Miradal test the area around the door/wall (as in above and below, by digging. She has claws.)

Miradal glares at the door. "Well, someone elses turn, can't burrow into it. Can't even scratch it."

Re: Coming to America and being evil. A modern 3.5 game
(More like the DM is breaking out some homebrew because he doesn't want people to avoid his traps, and runs his games as linear plot. You know, like certain older games where even though things should work in multiple orders, they don't. *followed by more bitch whine complain*)

Re: Coming to America and being evil. A modern 3.5 game
The walls ceilings and floors are apparently indestructible leaving me with 4 possible courses of action.
1: I leave.
2: I knock.
3: Non-existent rogue.
4: The rust monster.

Re: Coming to America and being evil. A modern 3.5 game
Not indestructible tougher than you. You're like what fifth level power build maybe in five more levels you can obliterate everything I put down but right now you're still dealing with some troubles. Now expand your horizons think laterally. Examine the area so I can dish out information.

Re: Coming to America and being evil. A modern 3.5 game
Miradal looks around for a control interface of some kind, or perhaps a lever, or a switch.
If those are not to be found: "We need the rust monster."

(Feel free to roll knowledge dungeoneering at any time )
Upon searching the door you see that it lacks hinges where there should be hinges. The handles for opening the door seem to be loose on the side closest to the door is a symbol engraved in it.
(Roll knowledge local unless your character would know the symbol.)
