This thread is for suggesting ideas for future weeks and discussing past ones. To actually request avatars, show off your avatars, or admire the avatars of others for the upcoming weeks, please see links to the individual week threads below.
The process for choosing a new week is currently as follows:
Nomination phase: People nominate new weeks by suggesting their Theme Week Idea in bold.
Voting phase: All of the nominated weeks are listed and each person can vote for their top three choices in bold red.
Yay! We Won! phase: Once a week is chosen, one of the supporters for that week should make a separate thread for the theme week in question and then link it in this thread so I can add it to the archives above.
Important: If you don't like a theme week under discussion, then either try to drum up support for a different theme, or don't participate. That's all. Please refrain from negative comments. Saying 'I'm not interested and wouldn't participate' is fine. Saying 'This choice sucks because...' and doing it in multiple posts is not.

The Future week- your chance to show off your jetpack, flying car, private spaceship, personal robot butler, or any of those other pieces of wonderful future technology that we were all supposed to have.
Crime vs, The Law week- Stereotypical criminals versus members of the law enforcement profession, could work wonders for freeform roleplaying with heists and police raids being planned, jailbreaks being achieved in the most unlikely of ways (for example with a smuggled teddybear- without anything hidden inside) and safe houses on both sides being taken out- and nobody knows which side the mods would really be on, do they?
Can we? Please? Let's skip the rest of the nominations and voting and just say this one wins.

So... if it hasn't already been done in some form, might I suggest a Soulmate Week? Here's the pitch: Everyone and their avatar are finding their one true love, whether it be their ultimate dream girl (or dreamy guy), another Playgrounder, that +5 vorpal greataxe they've been eyeing the entire campaign, or just a fresh plate of whatever guilty pleasure was destined to be one with their stomach. Can't you just feel the romance in the air?
