You know they do the voice acting before the animation, right?
Yeah. That makes it worse. Since you can animate, knowing what's being said and how long it takes. That's what I'm getting at. 'Telepathy' allows for lazy animation and I don't like it.

And yet, the practical reasons for them to do it, in-character, outweigh the "lazy" aspect.

Indeed. This seems like an incredibly pointless complaint, given it would make less sense for them to not make use of this ability. Plus it's not like the animators have evinced any problems animating mouth movements in any of the many scenes where characters do speak normally.

I just watched the episode. Found it a bit... boring actually. I didn't buy at once that these people were dying. The beginning where the JL was dying off and no one seemed to care left a bad taste in my mouth, even though it was explained later. The ending wasn't a total cheat, since there were clues interspersed throughout, but it still felt cheap somehow.
Also there was no hand-to-hand combat, just superheroes vs. ships over and over. That got tiresome, as the battles were often one-sided. The fights just weren't interesting.
Only episode so far that I've really not cared for all that much.

I know. But, like I said earlier, I found it annoying when I was looking at the same frame for almost three seconds, switch to another frame, then back to the other frame which is still the same as before.
I haven't noticed it in other episodes. I've only noticed it in the recent one. But, obviously, the episode has left a lot to be desired anyway. Not all episodes can be winners.
I just want more Rob Lowe.

My personal opinion is, yeah, the "it was just a dream" thing is a trope, even an overdone trope, that everybody does once - but everybody does it, it's required.
I, personally, hope we see Killer Frost again at some point.
Honestly, even if Young Justice was an old Hanna-Barbera cartoon and they really did the telepathy thing to cut down on animation costs, it would still make sense for the characters and I'd think it was cool.

At least the dream still had meaning for their lives afterwards. Something happened that wasn't entirely erased. So that's a redeeming feature I guess.

And I like how it seems to have been Batman's idea... up to the point where M'gann's subconscious hijacked the scenario. Preparing contingency plans in case of his own death is just such a Batman thing to do.
That's another thing I like about this show: Batman as the always-prepared Mission Control for the Minor Leaguers is a good way of making a show involving a wide variety of characters in the DCU without diminishing the Dark Knight's role in it or focusing on him.
I, personally, hope we see Killer Frost again at some point.
Normally, I'd prefer to see Poison Ivy. But I really don't like this Ivy's voice and strange similarity to Miss Martian, so the interesting Killer Frost takes over the "villain I want to see more of" spot.

Indeed.
The team saw their mentors die before their very eyes. They saw their world crumble. They saw all they knew and cared about wither and perish. And they saw a scenario in which no matter what they did, they were doomed to failure and their victories meaningless.
And it was all real as can be.
That sort of trauma doesn't and shouldn't go away. I've not yet seen tonight's episode, but I hope they deal with it at least somewhat. I realize some fans are angst averse, but I think recovering suddenly and easily from this would be... bad.
About half the episode is about them getting counseled by Black Canary. The rest has to do with stuff what goes boom.
Spoiler
Black Canary: "Wally, you're in denial."
Kid Flash: "I'm comfortable with that."

"Mom, when did you learn how to turn into a hot, young girl?"
Okay, that last one wasn't in there, but that henchman was one of the dumbest henchman I've seen in a while.
At least he cares for his mother. Funny scenes with stupid goons are funny.
Spoiler
The Miss Martian "you've turned white" was kind of hilarious to me, even as it practically confirms forever that she is isn't Manhunter's niece (and a White Martian too, I guess). So many pretend nieces, so little Robin talk. Poor Rob.
Aqualad needs to stop aangsting about being leader though. Its just "I should resign" "I resign" "resign". Yes, hes doubting his skills as team leader, but goodness its more annoying to me than "hello Megan". (This episodes hello Megan was well placed, and I enjoyed all the Canary talks.)

Didn't actually see the episode (busy doing homework) but I hear that:
Spoiler
Desaad was in it, which means MAYBE DARKSEID SOON! I thought he'd end up fitting in this show eventually, but I didn't think they'd bring him out so soon (he's usually the last guy, given the immense power he wields).
With that in mind, I'm wondering what they'd do if they brought out Darkseid, only for him to not be the last guy. Who'd be up for the end boss (that tops Darkseid in scary) then? Anti-Monitor? Krona? Mordru? Yuga Khan?
I hope Darkseid is treated as a major threat, and not an alien punk who gets bruised easily by Superman. In the silver/bronze age (back in the 70's, making some of you probably feel old as I flaunt my LATE TEENS/EARLY 20's IMMATURITY), Darkseid could easily take on the Justice League. I get that he may need to take a downgrade to fit the power levels of the show, but they could at least try to have Darkseid defeated in a unique fashion.
Oh, and I saw Failsafe
Spoiler
Liked the twist end, I knew midway through that it was going to be a training workout gone wrong, but I thought they pulled it off well.

On bosses:
Spoiler
How about Sinestro? He needs a fair shake after the way they nerfed him so badly in JLU. (Running heists for Gorilla Grodd?! ).
On the episode:
Spoiler
I liked it a lot. Nice alternation of "aftermath" and "action". I hope we see the Forever People again.
And I wonder if M'gann is going to get jealous of Sphere?

Spoiler
That... would be awesome. Sinestro WAS massively power-level-downed in Justice League, (one batterang=knocked out?) though his awesomeness in the Grodd guys vs. Luthor peps was awesome. Was awesomeful awesome. He saved Luthor like, 3 times in one episode!
I cant really see the TEAM fight Sinestro though. Without any Lantern-affiliated people near the team at all right now, it would definitely take a few seasons for it to happen. Which is what we are talking about... oh yeah. Personally though, I think Darkseid should stay out of Young Justice. Mention him and have Intergang do awesome stuff, but never have him appear. Or have him beat Superman in the beginning of an episode and have a 4 episode thing to save Superman/cry in the corner.

Darkseid brainwashes Superboy into being a general of his. Superman has to save Superboy from Darkseid at great risk of his life. The experience brings the two distanced characters together at last.

Why would Darkseid want Superboy? He's not very impressive, especially compared to proper Justice League bruisers.
