"It's probably either the local authorities or a group of smugglers."

The group continues to approach, and another one enters the range of the spell from behind the first.

Quinn sighs as she finishes the investigation. "So. Lots of pricey spices...you find anything?" she asks Carrie.

"Think we should stop them?" Dani asks Ashley.

[Rotting Baron]

[Starview Inn]

Ashley leans over so she can whisper. "I think we should follow them, for now."

[Beans]

[Temple]
Carrie shakes her head.
Nothing yet...

[C'nor]

[Starview Inn]

If they do, it's probably best to do it soon, as they're getting fairly near the door.

The redhead nods, and motions for Ashley to lead the way!

Quinn nods, and checks over the rest of the storage area. Just to be sure.

[Rotting Baron]

Ashley will turn towards the pair, and takes a few steps, though she tries not to get too close to them.

[C'nor]

[Temple]

She'll find crates of silk fabric, dyed in all colors, along with a small fortune in gems and precious metals.

[Starview Inn -> Starbane District]

The fact that they're being followed is, apparently, lost on the thieves, who proceed out the door, walking at a fairly normal speed.

Dani proves to be surprisingly stealthy as she follows Ashley...

Quinn waves Carrie over to see the gems!

Ashley is also surprisingly stealthy, especially for someone who isn't relying on magic like usual.

The thieves take a fairly winding route, but as long as Ashley and Dani don't suddenly start to make a lot of noise or something similar, they should get there without trouble.

'There' is a fairly nice building, towards one edge of the district.

Dani is quite capable of moving quite silently indeed!
And she leads Ashley. The other girl might or might not appreciate the view Dani's 'stereotypical female fantasy armor' provides, as they follow the thieves.

While Ashley would normally admire (and perhaps be jealous of) the view that Dani's armor provides, she's allowing the stealth to take prominence, and doesn't make any noise.

If nothing prevents them, the pair that Ashley and Dani are following approach the metal door, and knock on it, then appear to stand around concentrating. After around ten minutes, unless something was done in the meantime, they're let in.

Dani isn't going to stop them. But she peers intently, watching for any hint of passwords, passcodes, or passing anything!

Ashley, meanwhile, tries to sense any magic coming from the two, since they just appear to be concentrating.

There's nothing, unless one of them can spot psionics.

As they've been waiting, it's turned to night here in the city, and, interestingly enough, there are no stars visible, simply an empty expanse of dark sky, and the moons, of which there are four.

Ashley decides to whisper to Dani. "Should we head in there?"

"Probably a good idea," Dani whispes back, nodding.
