I forgot it was like batwings.
Klenkh held out his leg for Likhet to examine it.
Despite his hatred for her he trusted her. He had to if he wanted to survive.
When he was complimented by the Oracle he smiled.
"Thank you!"
He offered the knife to Arie.
"Would you like this?"
Likhet frowns. She gets one of the older water canisters and uses it to wash the cut, then wraps it up in some pilfered gauze bandage. You need some real pants...
What have you found near the base?
Harnel looks briefly towards the eye, but then discards it as pointless. There was no real casting time to it as her last spell was interrupted, meaning it's a simpler spell. Less substance. Probably fake, a scare tactic to get him to focus on something else while she preps another spell.
Harnel, with a powerful flap of his wings, surges forward. Kate may find the red half-dragon very close to her in a very short amount of time, with his fist coming towards her stomach in an attempt to wind her. Harnel's magic resistance, if the barrier isn't quite strong, will likely allow the blow to connect.
Oh, crud. Change tactics.
Kate will bring her leg around to deflect the fist with a crescent kick. It seems like she wanted to do something more with her legs, but given that she is flying instead of standing her legs don't have any grip to go into a spin.
She instead decides to try and beat Harnel on the head with her heavy metal staff. If allowed, she will proceed to beat him until he passes out or falls out of range. Reach, one way or another, is her main ally here.

She graciously accepts the gift.
A knife? For me? But what if I fall on it too?
She frowns at it, as if trying to get it to behave like a small child. Scolding the inanimate steel for hurting klankh with a glare.

Klenkh gave a sheepish smile.
"I...uh...didn't have the energy to check out that far, I was only able to scout this place. Sorry."
He then smiled at Arie.
"I'm sure you won't be as clumsy as me..."
That's the thing about close combat, isn't it? Your biggest worry is getting close enough to hit someone, and keeping out of your opponent's range at the same time, as paradoxical as that is. But armor helps make the hits bearable in close combat, certainly, and while Harnel may not be wearing armor per-say, his scales protect him the same way, and as a matter of fact his scales are thicker than even some other half dragons. On top of this, he's well trained in the use of armor, and knows that you don't take a blow, you deflect it.
With that knowledge in mind, Kate will find that her staff has been deflected off to the side with Harnel's left hand, and his right sweeps forward to grab onto her clothing. That same type of armor-like scales now protects Kate, and so it would be best not to make a direct attack. Instead, his tactics switch to grappling. Or at least, attempting to do so.

Now, now Klenkh.
Arie begins, not realizing she's pointing the knife directly at him.
Lying isn't good. You know that.
Harnel will find the robe is tear-away. Remember me saying that? the bit he grabs tears right off.
Kate chooses the quickest option out: down. She stops flapping, taking time on the way down to cast a strength up spell. She lands on her feet, somehow, and begins to take wing-aided leaps to put distance between herself and Harnel.
New plan, go.
Libra is shot some incomplete nonsense about party tactics, "tanks" vs "dot" and "buff time." What?
"None? Really? Wow. I thought dragons had lots of kids or whatever. Totally kills my point about how if you took Harnel away, you couldn't replace him. You'd just get something different entirely."
"The wish for winning can be anything right?"
"I know Cessie." Ilpholin says out loud.

[Shed 7]
She hasn't seen the knife being pointed at him, and she still doesn't see it when she turns to go to Shed 5, where she dragged a clothes locker from Shed 2. Let's get some actual pants on you.
She rummages through the locker, in which she found most of their new clothes.
Now, now Klenkh.

Klenkh gets very nervous!
He then removes something shiny from his pocket!
"I'msorryIalsofoundthispleasedon'thurtme!"
He quickly handed it over, it's a brilliant cut diamond that was once on a ring. It's also pretty dirty and grimy!
He then backs away and follows Likhet!
"What's wrong with going around naked?"
He didn't mind going around naked, though it's sometimes drafty...
Harnel is a powerful flier. He doesn't immediately drop to the ground, instead flying directly at Kate. He evidently intends to use the momentum of his flight as he goes. In effect, he'll land right in front of her, bringing down both his fists towards her head.

Kate brings her staff up to block, but it does not appear to be very effective. She falls to the ground, dropping her staff. She writhes around a bit, rolls a little, and eventually curls up in a fetal position on her side.
Arie looks at the diamond, not really sure what made Klenkh freak out like that.
Oh... It's pretty.
[Shed 7]
Likhet brings him an undershirt and some cargo pants. Clothes are a good thing.
She blinks at the knife and the diamond. Er... where'd you get the diamond, Klenkh?
"Well, yes... unless it's a very tricky wish. My power isn't unlimited around here since it isn't my world. It's so much more entertaining that way." Libra replies.
Cessie doesn't seem to relax, the earth elemental standing ever vigilant.
[Kirk VS Wenomir]
And the gem breaks off with chain and everything, this landing is going to be spectacular.
[Edijar and Charity]
"Booo!" They both can hear Libra's voice as she appears in a seat in the middle of the sand, eating popcorn from a big bowl.
"Boooring! Now what will you do? This was the shortest fight ever."

Briefish dedtiem.
Shed 7
He puts on the undershirt and cargopants fast and in front of both of the females, meaning he was briefly naked in front of them.
"I found it in some rubble...I was looking through the big building when it caught my eye so I grabbed it."
It might be nice to note that Klenkh isn't the brightest gaunt.
What's head gets smushed. SPLAT, just like that. He leans backward, as if he were about to tumble backwards and fall over dead, but then abruptly rights himself, lifts up the hammer, and ZAP! Lightning arcs out from the godly weapon, intent on reaching up and zapping the super-psychic brains right out of Quinn's head. Mwahahaha, it'll take more than an imploded head to stop What!
Quinn doesn't flinch or pull away!
Instead she...reaches up to catch the lightning in one hand in a ball?
Gathering it and then sending it flying straight back in What's direction!
"You should surrender Cessie." Ilpholin tells her.
I'm pretty sure that's not only not what she expected to hear, but also not what she wanted to hear.

Arie giggles as she watches Klenkh change, then goes back to the diamond. She is quite fascinated by it, and kinda forgot about everything else.

Likhet couldn't care less about Klenkh's bits and whatsits, currently fussing about the steak knife in Arie's possession. Er, maybe you should put the knife away, dear.
Or I could carry it for you.
Or we could get backpacks and put it in one of them.
She knows it'll be best to have backpacks to carry all the sweet loot they've scored.

ALL OF THE SWEET LOOT.
Like food.
That reminds me...
"That reminds me, I'm pretty hungry...what is there to eat?"

Arie is confused.
Huh? What knife?
She frowns, taking her eyes from the diamond. She notices the blade she is carrying.
Oh. You meant THAT knife.
"SILENCE!!" The Ranger roars, rolling onto his feet, grabbing another vial of explosive oil from his belt, and hurling it at Despair. Fire was effective before, so perhaps it'll work again. Now that the warrior knows about Despair's telekinetic powers, he certainly won't be in any hurry to charge again, not when Despair can just pull him off his feet.

Hope you like dried things.
Her mouth curls wryly as she points him toward the food in Shed 7. Dried things!
Shed 7
He rifles through the dried food.
Jerky! Dried Fruit! Powdered Eggs! Powdered Milk!
Too bad there isn't any canned goods...
Klenkh grabs jerky and dried fruit, plus a can of powdered milk!
"What is...powdered milk?" he asks as he eats some jerky and dried fruit.
[Shed 7]
Likhet rolls her eyes, then sits down and beckons her Oracle into her lap for hair-combing/brushing/whatever you call it when you do that with claws time. It's not all that necessary. We should stick to things like the fruit and meat.

Arie happily skips over to Likhet and plops down in her lap. It is her duty as a dignified lady to keep her hair maintained.
