Agreed, but which ones can we agree turn evil? My votes are Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and... Fluttershy maybe? She'd be the one to turn evil, then realize all the awful things she'd done while evil and kill herself/accept the Princess's judgement. Her legion would still be evil tho.

'Spike' could simply be a black skinned, red eyed primarch with a pechant for fiery psyker abilities and flamethrowers.

I still say Discord should be a Primarch who becomes a Drakonequs upon ascension. Perhaps Discord and Spike will both be discovered at the same time?

It's just a pun, it doesn't have to strictly follow the word. I have this stigma against ponified Spike, sorry. If Spike must be in, I'll prefer he be a dragon.

I'd prefer he not be in at all, TBPH. Space Mareines are ponies. Their geneseed is taken from their primarchs, and it only works on those whose genes are compatible, ie mostly regular humans in 40K, ponies in Ponyhammer...

While it is grimdark I can't see any of the main 6 falling to chaos. Their loyalty to Celestia is absolute especially since they fought Luna in the show.

Ok. So the Mane six are loyal primarchs...

EDIT: Idea! Maybe the Mane Six stayed loyal but most of their Legions (and at least three primarchs [Discord, Trixie, Gilda]) did not?

Not directly from the show, no... But then again, there was a time when Horus's devotion to the Emperor was absolute, and Lorgar worshipped him as a God (actually starting the Cult of the Emperor which has dominated by the 41st century). We don't have to speculate how here, but it would really fit with the 40k setting for three of the mane cast to fall.

You should. And you should post a link either here or in the normal ponythread. Or both.

The problem with that idea is that Space Marines tend to be fanatically loyal to their primarchs... If the primarch stays loyal, so will at least the majority of the legion.

Honestly, I don't really want the Mane Six - even half of them - to fall. But perhaps that's why they should.

However, I also think there should be other primarchs, in either case. Seven Primarchs may make the numbers of space mareines too small.

Possibilities:
Discord, Trixie, Gilda, Braeburn, CMC, Lyra, Bon-bon, Derpy Hooves...

Hope it's not to late but I would like to join as Noxxionus, leader of a Night Lord Warband with the goal of using this planet as a Staging point for several raids (And to use the fighting between everyone as cover for stealing things from the imperium).

Do you mind if I have him meet up with the Brothers of Combat commander? I dunno if he was trying to stay covert from the Imperial forces too (unlikely, given that Inquisitors usually wear the symbol of their office somewhere in plain sight)

Being IG, it's only natural to see which part of the planet being held by whom at the moment. It's something I want to work out before hand. I rather not take liberties with the geography of the planet incase you have something in mind.

This is what I got at the moment.
There is a one large continent.
Moon Dancer is the current capital, in the North. Possibly north-eastern coast by the looks of it? Main IG base should be in or around the city.
The western mountains are held by the Hogz.
There is an island off the eastern coast being held by the Space Mareines.
The (frozen) south is being held by the Eldeer.

Currently vague:
Ponynids (Paranids?) landed in the middle of the forest. North?
Major population centres?
Chaos cultists base if there are any?
Other notable islands separate from the main continent?

-Asharis and Moon Dancer are the two main cities with towns and villages scattered across the continent.
-Cultists don't have a base, they're scattered all over the continent.
-Asharis was the only island I had in mind.

I'll try and get a map up (someone else can do it if they want) but it'll take a while, probably suck and isn't necessary while we establish our home bases and characters.

Okay, I think I'll know just how to start now.

The nids are cut off from the hive fleet, they need lots of initial food if they're going to be a legitimate threat. :P
