Wait, the pain feedback woke her up so it effects her physically when the swarm is hit to hard, does that mean another shot could damager her via feedback or direct hit? A possible weakness!
eureka!

Not really. Some have a small degree of freedom from the Hive Mind, but even those lack anything that could really be described as sentience. [/nitpick]

Well define sentience.

The ability to participate in conscious, rational, abstract thought. Even the most "intelligent" of the Tyranids operate solely on an instinctual level, meaning that despite the ability to construct complex, world-spanning strategies, they are not sentient beings, just very clever animals.

Pokonic look what you have done! You fool, you`ve doomed us all!
Hey! Dont blame me, blame the only race in the galaxy who uses pain beams for recreational uses!

That was already the plan. xD
She was gonna wake at the end of the battle, as the Parasprites were dying, but that much feedback into the Hive Mind was enough to do it immediately
.
Just how powerful is this thing, anyway? I would rather not have a unbeatable Marysprite running around. Could it, say, be beaten down by sufficant heavy fire? If you kill it, does it slowly reform somewhere where the hives stronger? Any power level comparisons ( ex. Its like a lictor on crack. And nightmares.)

Go ahead. Try it.
Stop mocking me!
It was a good idea at the time! I mean, there was only one way to find out!

Actually, it's been stated that Swarmlords (and Hive Tyrants to a different degree) posses the ability to rationally think their way through problems and outsmart the enemy. In fact, that's the reason the Hive Fleets bring out Swarmlords: because general Tyranid tactics of 'swarm, eat, rinse, repeat' don't work.

They don`t work SOMETIMES. The birth of a swarmlord is a special thing that is semi rare. It`s even been described as a knee jerk reaction for when it fails to win via swarm.

Isn't that what I just said?

Just read the Lexicanum entry on the Swarmlord (singular). I concede the point.

She's somewhere between Hive Tyrant and Swarmlord. If she dies, they'll probably be able to reform her, but in the best case scenario it'd take ages.

And the other part is whether or not it is literally a Hive Tyrant pony or if it`s just a powerful synapse creature. If the former then we know what it can do with weaponry and psyker powers, but if it`s the later then you can make up the powers.

And it's abilities will be mostly made up, but should be similar to those of a hive tyrant. I could write a statblock, probably, if you liked.
Not a stateblock, realy, more like a general list of powers.
Actualy, perhapes we could put down "army lists"?
It could clear up a bit confusion we could face if someone sent out a "squad" of space mareines and have them fight a "stream" of paranids. Naturaly, some races numbers may grow (hogz and Parinids, mostly), but others (such as myself) have rather "elite" armies in which unit cordination is key.
Thoughts?

Define these army lists?
I'll imagine there're several regiments of Equestrian Guards and PDF cannon fodder on the ground on Incipio. The Colonel was elected commander by virtue of his seniority, though a Lord-General would probably be more appropriate for this position to be honest. (I chalk it to the LG him/herself being delayed.)

Mostly waiting on Lix to reply to my post. Though if she decided not to do the battle on account of already having two people battling her force at the moment, I'm okay with it.
