Players are subtly encouraged to smite hackers on sight. Doing so might earn them both rank and prestige. Spec might even gain a unique weapon out of this deal! What a perfect day this is.

Spec readies her blade, elevating it so that the hilt is situated just below the center of her abdominal region. She glances at the discarded Uzi lying a few inches to the left of her left, dull, leather, steel-toed boot. Her foe might not be able to notice that she rapidly eyes he Uzi as her eyes are shielded two thick, darkened, rectangular pieces of plastic.

"Prepare to be pwned, hacker."

Spec shouts in a most fearsome voice with as much energy as she can muster. Let the battle commence?

As the heavily modified woman says this, the runes covering her right arm flash yellow, and the blade starts to glow black.

Since his grappel didn't work the scorpion will try to destroy the Captains weapon using his long tail. after all he won't reach her after she has made her shot and some more due to the weapons accuraty.

"I don't know. There's a park over there, or we could head back to Trog's, or check out the Black Dragon's Den..."

turns into the park, which is fairly open, with quite a few trees, and a river network running through it. The trees are mostly cherries and willows, but there are a few maples, and an oak or two.

Oddly, there is a big four poster bed sitting in the middle of the street. It's not for sale either, or if it is the man curled up in the covers shouldn't be there. He's snoring loudly and attracting many odd looks from the people walking by.

People often times have odd ways of showing up in the Nexus.

Some get dumped out of portals.

Some just wander in.

Some suddenly appear out of nowhere sitting atop furniture.

But Dunastes?

Dunastes does something quite new.

He arrives inside a smallish half-ruined temple complete with massive marble slabs and columns. Oh. And the temple appears in mid-air as well. It falls about ten feet before crashing into the ground with an earth-shattering rumble, crunch of shattered marble flying every which way!

Hmm... That's a pretty short intro for Dunastes. She probably got smushed in the process. Oh, wait! Look! Something is climbing out of the rubble!

Looks like a brass-statue of some guy. That's on fire.

"Gah! What's happening?! The troll got out again! Trooooll in the dungeon! Mundo?! Mundo, fetch the troll poking stick!" The sleeping man shouts all of this as he is suddenly woke up and topples right off the bed. He engages in a fierce battle with his covers, which clearly must be trying to smother him. The shouting continues.

If Rein wakes up at some point, he'll find that Arel has left in his sleep. Off exploring perhaps? Oh boy, the Nexus is dangerous!

Spec, without warning and with deliberate celerity, backs away from from the flashy hostile. Is she backing off, thereby surrendering to her enemy? Could she be throwing in the metaphorical towel? The answer to that query would be a most definite no. Spec suddenly bursts forward in surge of energy, a blur lowering herself to the ground and sliding upon it, left hand snatching the Uzi as she skids past it. She slips under the heavy oaken desk in the center of the room and continues through the gap in its lower midsection at breakneck speeds. She brings her light-katana up to defend her torso, blade slanted diagonally across her chest. She takes a bead on Trium's chest and begins her attempt to pepper Trium with a thick spray of hollow-point bullets, smirking all the while.

Spec is probably going to zip right out the window if she doesn't slow down drastically very soon.

The totally not-troll shoves its way out of a heap of debris and sets about blasting a cart full of fresh corn with HEAT VISION! The cart in question explodes in a massive shower of pop-corn rather than simply catching on fire like it should have.

But wait?

What about Dunastes?

Well... That big pile of rocks is sort of glowing. Maybe something is happening?
