Default Minor spelling error in strip 889

Roy says "We worked hard and acheived our goals. What's wrong with that?

Should be spelled "achieved".

Did it? I was too busy being absolutely awed at another fantastic, plot-forwarding, excellently-drawn strip.

I was very impressed too, it must be said.

Or maybe it's deliberate.

In reality, Roy would never misspell a word, even while speaking.

Yea, that's what I think it is.

I before E, except after C, or when sounding like A as in "neighbor" and "weigh."

Word to live by.

I couldn't remember what thread I posted that in, so I don't know if I ever got an answer - search function still doesn't work.

Anyway, back to the original topic - sure it's a spelling error, but considering how few of them Rich generally has, I'm more than willing to forgive them.

Google has an option to search a specific domain (I found those by searching for red_lava on giantitp.com), I really wish they would put this in an FAQ somewhere on the site...

It might be a joke. Or a typo, but I never would have noticed it if someone hadn't decided to make a thread about it. Really, I don't think it matters.

The Giant occasionally fixes errors- it doesn't really matter much, but it might be something to fix in the print version.

I'm pretty sure that the thing to do when you find a typo is to post it in the discussion thread, and Rich'll fix it if he finds the time.

I wasn't sure one way or another. Still, on closer examination of the thread, it appears it was noted fairly early on.

I'll fix it in the source file for the book.

More to the point, please don't discuss another poster's bad behavior, or whether or not they will (or have been) banned.

Since that's like half the posts in this thread (and I just answered the other half), thread locked.
