Yeah, but consider hitting such a quick, skinny target. Even with a spray of gunfire, very few bullets are going to land, and those that do won't necessarily do damage.

These are old skeletons. Powerful energies keep them moving, so it's a bit harder than usual to put them down.

Of course, old does not always mean smart. I'd bet Missy's going to do a little damage herself before the skeletons get away clean.

So, which character would you prefer I use? I have a couple of shapeshifting vampires, any of seven Tieflings with abilities tied to their names (Despair, Sorrow, Fear, Torment, War, Weary, and Carrion), a shapeshifter that controls shadows, a normal human that works for the Inside City Militia, and I could use it to bring in a Velvet (from Neverwhere).

I didn't think most of the bullets would have any effect, far from it. Which is why Jone is about to use a special round(which isn't lethal to something alive, let alone something undead), but I have to wonder why have the skeletons show up at the perimeter. There could have been better places where they weren't going to be opposed, couldn't there?

Because of the Quarantine, and since Remnant doesn't know what's causing the undead, they aren't going to just let the skeletons ride past without incident, and if they do get past, then there's a good chance Remnant will send people to chase. If they stopped and had followed the orders that would have been given, they'd have been out of the Quarantine Zone in a short order.

It was a school in the Grey Zone, I believe. I hadn't specified it further than that, so it can be as close or far from the zombies as you want.

I'm not really doing this sort of RP-scene in the thread, but I'm sorry if it wasn't that clear. If you want to put forth an idea for a militia member, it's better to PM or put it in OOC (Though I still might miss it). I don't want to have to RP half a dozen scenes of people being told to go away or that they're "in", for instance.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I had sorted this out in the OP and in the OOC thread when I revived the Militia thread.

Though I didn't want to say so yet, they were intended to be almost entirely harmless, and I'd hoped they would simply ride past without incident. Now I'm sure Wolfbane will have Remnant blame the lich for Jone's death, and I'd rather not be a part of that. Just continue as if I were never there.

Uh...

I really don't think that's a reasonable assumption when the area they're leaving is under a quarantine. I mean, the purpose of a quarantine is not to let people in or out unless they know it's safe to do so. I'm sure a bunch of guys on motorbikes rip-roaring past a riot-police blockade wouldn't be met with joviality either.

You'd be more accurate making them about the Griever breed of the Gaunts I recently invented; the Griever is mainly based on the Witch anyway.

Frankly, yes they would blame the Lich. His presence instigated things. That said, I'm willing to go through with the retcon only if all the others are willing too(Mindfreak and Happyturtle) as this would mean Jone is alive.
