The person who is running the plot, or setting buildings ablaze, or doing whatever sort of activity that would get Remnant attention IC really needs to orchestrate the npc action to notivy Remnant IC as well as notify Wolfy OOC.
I set the building on fire. But I have no clue what Mindfreak, who's running the plot, sent to Wolfbane in the summary PM that was mentioned, nor am I the one orchestrating NPC actions. I was simply bringing attention to it OOC since no-one had mentioned it here, and I found that somewhat odd.
So I'd appreciate not being yelled at for that.

I didn't know who set the building on fire, and have no idea what building it is, or why it was on fire, but I would still argue that if it's an npc building, and you set it on fire, it's your job to make sure that Remnant is notified, IC and OOC - even if it occurs as part of a larger plot.
The PM was less of a summary of what's occurred and more of the basis of the plot(zombie invasion from Apartments headed to Red Zone). And that's not really yelling, more of a general announcement about something that I've had to repeat quite a few times in the past couple weeks, emphasized so more people will see it this time around hopefully.
Aside from the previously mentioned reasons, another reason I ask for the PMs, is so I make sure that people want me to respond to such plot points if it's not obvious that Remnant would respond. A building on fire is generally a minor note which Remnant's constant on-screen involvement would just complicate matters.

That makes sense. I'm willing to admit that I was probably not interpreting things in the best light there - a lot of RL stuff has been going on today, and some OOC drama in another RP I'm in, on a different forum, so that was probably coloring my judgement.
As for the rest, since I've now notified people OOC, I guess I'll go post in Remnant. Is there some sort of procedure for notifying them about things like this?
Oh, and speaking of this, BR, Talnissa and Kara* are on the other side ofthe Grey Zone from the zombies, correct?
*Not Karaglen, but Kara, a former NPC, who works at the Mallside branch of Erin's Emporium.

You can either roleplay out an npc phoning for help, or you can ask for it to be handwaved. The main thing is just the communication that 'hey, this scene that's going on here is something that needs Remnant attention'.
Quinn doesn't hesitate, raising a hand and thrusting it out torwards What.
Sending a beam of sonic energy, like a mighty battering ram causing the very fabric of the air to ripple and distort, directly at his head.
You could say, perhaps, that she's trying to squash it.
So I've been following this plot for something to do, and I'm kinda wondering how a sonic attack works in a field of silence.
Meh, it's probably Because Magic.

The pool is the queen of diamonds, a five of diamonds, and the ace, three and nine of spades. So I do believe that's a draw.

Adrin does indeed check his cards, and, you're probably right about it being a draw, though at this point I'm not up to checking, as it's late here.
If Aces are high, it's a tie. If they're not, D takes the pot.
I don't mind it being handwaved, but think you could link me to the post where it happened?

...
Clearly a new smiley is needed...
If you check with Ceika to make sure that using it won't be a problem, I think that the head of my Color out of Space victim might work for that.
And handwaving it is fine with me. I'll go dig up the post.

"Don't perturb yourself over it, this paltry burn is barely a pain, much less a problem." The Politician says nonchallantly, shrugging and putting his coat back on. "Oh, and that Kirk fellow? As polite as he seems, he and his pals are playing a little prank on you, putting money on whether he can persuade you into bed." This last is whispered rather than said, spoken so quietly that no-one other than Julie should be able to hear, even allowing for Kirk and Dena's rather above human hearing. Among the Politician's array of powers is being able to control his voice with incredible precision, to the point where even someone standing right next to him would have difficulty overhearing his words if he didn't want them to.
Ahem.
While it's not really a significant situation all in all, I do feel the need to address this merely on principle. I would like to ask just how the Politician was able to overhear a conversation between Kirk and Dena when there was no prior indication of him being near enough to overhear or that he was even attempting to eavesdrop? While it's true the two weren't exactly taking great measures to avoid being overheard, I still find that he was listening in on their entire conversation a bit much. Especially considering that the casino was more than likely anything but quiet.
I will preemptively defend myself by saying that I found it plausible that Julie might find it suspicious for Kirk to be talking to another woman, casually come up and molest her, and then go back to talking to that same woman without any tension between them.
She didn't actually hear anything though, that would be silly.
Well, for a start, the Politician's hearing and other senses are significantly magnified, thanks to his mask. He's not stronger or tougher (although due to being quite mad he doesn't register pain normally) than an average human, but he can see, hear, smell, etc. far better. Said senses are also quite selective, meaning it's easy for him to listen for certain kinds of things amidst the chatter of a crowd, things like gambling, business deals, money changing hands and such. When topics like that are openly discussed, he tends to take notice. Which is why I figured P would overhear the bet, even if he wasn't listening to the entire conversation.
Anyway, if it's really a huge deal, I can change it, I just generally assumed it would be okay, seeing as Kirk and Dena didn't try to prevent themselves from being overheard.
EDIT: Also, the reasons Slii pointed out. That, if nothing else, would have given the Politician cause for suspicion.

Yes I would prefer if it was changed. If prior indication of him listening in was given I'd be fine with it, but that's not the case.
Also, just because Dena had no problem with Kirk's actions is not really a reason to make the rather large leap to them betting on him getting in bed with her. Heck, they could have just been friends, so Kirk's usual behavior might not bother Dena.
And Slii, I don't have any problem with your actions. If I did I'd say so.
Kay, changed to reflect that apparently, P didn't manage to overhear anything clearly and just has general suspicion and paranoia. However, just to prevent any further incidents, I'd like to hearby state that P is constantly listening in on his surroundings, so anything said within the same general area is probably gonna be overheard.

At the behest of boredom, I've idly written up Edict spewing crazy philosophy at Feia. Or not crazy, depending.
Maybe not to the interest of anyone else, but these things happen when I type at six in the morning.
Whoooo, narrative walls of text.

Mindfreak do you mind if the zombies (maybe only a few one) pass the church? I forgot to ask you befor I made my post in Inside.
Don't mind at all.
I would like to say at this time as a reminder for people:
I really do not want anyone with a power level above a C to be involved in the zombies. Because anyone above a C would just easily wipe out the zombies, things would be over quickly, it wouldn't be much fun.
Exceptions can be made in places where a character is put into a situation where they have to go(like if they were commanded to do so for example or if they're Remnant.).
Hey. I was wanting to join something and am not sure how to get started or where. ^^;; If it helps I can tell you some of my characters.

Howdy, there. Read this thread, at least the first few posts of it, and then read the first posts in this thread. After that, you'll understand a little bit better what goes on around here. Then, you can just start. Just post somewhere in character. No forms or anything. I recommend the Mallside thread for beginner's; nice and friendly, and a good way to meet people.
Although it is not required, many people find the character registry to be useful, both for keeping all their characters straight and so that others can look up their characters.
