I'd prefer if that was kept in to be honest. Like if everyone just 'ported back home. A lot of good interaction happened as a result of it, and it shouldn't really be taken away.
Just my opinion though.

I've been told about some concerns dealing with Remnant's "Basic" armor and how when drawn out like that, it appears that everyone uses it, and is too powerful for standard use.
While it is fairly impressive, it's not as powerful as it looks. Mostly, it's just an aesthetically different SWAT Hard Body Armor. It's good against most small arms, but compared to what's in Nexus, that's little. It's somewhat heat and cold resistant, and the strength enhancement, while significant, isn't used most of the time.
As for the "Auto-heal" for wounds, what wasn't mentioned what that just because the user can't feel pain, it doesn't get rid of the penalties that a wound makes. If you're shot in the shoulder, chances are that the arm is just about useless. Not to mention that such powerful drugs tend to knock the person down on the count anyway. It's to increase the user's survivability, not to make them walking painless tanks.
And finally, as far as "Everyone using it" goes, that's far from the case. While many of those on patrol or on guard duty use it, chances are that everyone else is just in their uniform.
If there are any other concerns, just voice them and I'll answer them.

Good point. The plot still happened, it's just that the latter half of it happened off screen. I'll edit my Srs post.

@Inside: I saw the post, Happy. I figured a chainsaw revving behind the Remnant soldiers would prove distracting, but for some reason you jumped a character in specifically to stop the whole action. I suppose he won't be doing any showing off now.

Yes, her teleporting right behind Lt. Jones and instantly blocking the Chainsaw Majin's chainsaw does seem unfair, but she did supply a very good reason for doing so.
And it isn't like he is the only Chainsaw Majin.
No, I decided to post because of the call for reinforcements. My post was already written, and I was just waiting for you to post before I posted mine.
I didn't expect you to completely ignore the fact that everyone was shooting at your guy though. That's not really okay, nor is deciding that someone else's character, who happens to be a trained soldier, is distracted. I'm sure you can find an excuse to show off your guy later in a way that isn't godmodding.
@^: Teleporting to the exact location might be dubious except that it's the quarantine perimeter, which is being watched very closely, not just a random fight in the city somewhere.

I'll just go edit. Bullets are gonna be pretty harmless toward a bunch of fast-moving skeletons anyway.
Bullets can chip bone.
At worse it can destroy the bone or break it off.
So...not entirely harmless. I'm pretty sure a skeleton is going to be pissed if a vertebrae breaks because of a bullet and their head falls off.
