[Nexus] The Nest/Karyana's Forest III:

[C'nor]

This is a meta location, to prevent Home from being flooded.

The Nest

The Nest is a converted hotel in the Red Zone. It currently houses Rael Kairos, a 300 year old vampire, a large number of strange lifeforms he's created, and a couple of dozen other vampires that he's made, including Karyana. All of those are mine. Beans controls Zwei, a stitchy undead deathknight. Technoscrabble is pretty much in control of the Tire Geal here, although technically they're my characters. Mindfreak has Jimmy, a crazy guy that Rael has turned into a vampire. Rotting Baron has Ashley, a half-elf illusionist.

The Nest also contains one of two permanent access points to K's Forest, the other being in Karyana's room in HALO.

The Roof:

This is exactly what the name says. Mainly notable because Ashley has taken up residence there.

It also contains the only known permanent access to Ashley's Dimension.

(Further description, if any is desired, is up to Rotting Baron, as I don't know how Ashley may have changed the roof since she started living there)

K's Forest

K's Forest is a formerly blank dimension that imprinted on Karyana. She then imprinted it on Zwei and Ashley.

Ashley's Dimension

Ashley recently received a blank dimension of her own. She set most of it to generate to only a few general guidelines, but the island she stays on is entirely of her design. The ocean is unnaturally blue, and the nights always have sufficient moonlight.

Nycca and the girl shrug.

Karyana also returns to eating, and says "So, Zwei, did I ever show you the places here other than the Forest?"

Talina stands and starts rummaging in one of her component pouches, saying "What's your name, anyway?"

[Beans]

[Forest 2]
She smiles and hugs her.

She scratches her neck.

Ashley returns the hug. "I can't wait for the wedding."

[C'nor]

[Forest]

Karyana also continues to eat.

"Would you like me to?"

[Motel]

Talina pulls out a tape measure, and extends her free hand.

"It's nice to meet you, Jen. I'm Talina, and this is Nycca."

[Beans]

[Motel]
She shakes the hand. Nycca pats her knee absently, still observing the feet.

Ashley blinks a few times. "I have no idea what I'll wear." She's a little sheepish about it.

[C'nor]

[Motel]

Talina lifts the tape measure to her lips, and whispers in to it. Unless stopped, it will start measuring Jen's arms, then move on to her legs.

As it may be doing this, Talina tries to examine the girl's hand, to see what the growth rate is.

[Forest]

"Then if you're done eating, let's go. Paisley, do you want to come?"

[Beans]

[Motel]
It seems above normal, but not malignant.

[Forest]
Paisley nods as Zwei rubs Karyana's back.

[Forest 2]
I'm sure Karyana and I will find something pretty and easy to get you out of.

[Rotting Baron]

[Forest 2]

"Alright," Ashley responds with a bit of a sigh, "As long as it's not a dress."

[C'nor]

[Motel]

"Nycca, how fast are her feet growing?"

[Forest]

Karyana tries to lead them to the same branch that she showed Paisley earlier, happily returning Zwei's back rubbing.

[Beans]

[Forest 2]
She giggles.
Maybe a suit like mine, then.

Zwei is as amazed as Paisley was if not more.

Nycca's answer is the same as what Talina saw in the girl's hands.

[Motel]

The tape measure, apparently, can speak, as it just said the length of Jen's arms and legs. It will, unless stopped, then return to measuring them, and report any noticable changes in the results.

[Forest]

"So, which one do you want to go to?"

[Rotting Baron]

[Forest 2]

"Or maybe some mage robes," Ashley says a little dreamily. "I've always wanted robes."

[Beans]

[Forest 2]
She nods, rubbing her back.

Magic tape measure!
The results haven't really changed since the few minutes ago she last measured. She's still a bit lanky.

Ashley squirms a little as her back is rubbed, trying to give Zwei better access.

[C'nor]

[Forest]

"Alright."

Karyana begins to open the window, and tries to pick Paisley up so that she can carry the ghost girl.

[Motel]

"So... The growth is confined to your hands and feet. That's weird, especially for something non-magical."

[Beans]

[Forest]
Zwei helps carry her, tickling the smaller girl.
Paisley squirms, giggling.

I think my legs are growing some too...

The leg muscles are subtly growing as well.
I feel okay, I guess...

[Rotting Baron]

Ashley gives a small moan. "That's so nice, Zwei..."

[C'nor]

[Forest]

They'll fly in over the city, most likely, probably aiming for a covered street with roof acess to it near the courtyard. Landing is likely next post, to give Zwei a chance to react.

[Motel]

"You're right... But as long as it doesn't cause problems, we probalby shouldn't worry too much, just try to find out what's causing it."

She pauses for a moment.

"Do you need a place to stay?"

[Beans]

She smiles, massaging her back and shoulders.

Zwei stares in amazement as Paisley grins.

She nods.
Y-yes please.

Nycca smiles.
Good thing you're cute.

Karyana grins, and laughs happily, as they land on top of the jade cover.

[Motel]

Talina laughs a bit at Nycca's comment, and says "Then you can stay with us. Are you hungry?"

Ashley grins, and tries to roll over onto her stomach.

[Beans]

[Motel]
Jen's blush is oddly a bit mauve as she nods. Nycca giggles.

Zwei touches down, then runs her hands over the jade.

Zwei smiles and lets her roll.

Ashley tries to pull the blanket down a little to expose her back to Zwei.

Talina starts walking towrd the kitchen area, saying "Then let's get you something to eat. Nycca, do you remember if we ever picked up more food?"

[Forest]

A small trapdoor opens a bit down the cover from them.

[Beans]

[Forest 2]
Zwei keeps massaging!

The motel's ample stock of nonperishable food is pretty hefty.

Ashley relaxes under the massage. "You're good at massages, love."

[C'nor]

[Desert]

(Bleh, I was rushed because I'd forgotten to post for it, so I used the wrong tag when I edited it in.)

As does Karyana. The wide street is rather like a paved tunnel, but filled with dark green light, from the sun shining through the cover, and with various buildings forming the walls.

The vampire turns, and starts to head through a door on their left, the trapdoor closing behind them.

[Motel]

She nods.

"Alright."

Talina will pick out something good, that there's enough of for all of them to be able to eat it.
