Speaking of plotlines, I've got an idea for a plot involving a unicorn who has been imprisoned underground somewhere near the town wreaking havoc to break loose. (No, I did not mix that up. The havoc part comes before the breaking loose part.) Would anypony mind if I introduced it?
Oh whoops. Forgot to reply to this.
Sounds good, but I think Benson had a mystery/horror/vampire plotline in the works, so I'd just work out who is going first with their plots. gosh darn it ponies I can never use that word seriously can I

Looks good. The RP needs some sort of plot to happen anyway.

All right. Thanks. If the other plot isn't too long, I'll let Benson go first. I just wanted to make sure no one objected for whatever reason.

Four months is a bit of a long time. Oh well, I wish you luck. And don't worry about my plot; it's not necessary for everyone to get involved in dealing with it.

I plan to stop early if possible. Gotta get some studenting in after all.

Actually, go ahead with your plot if you want. I'm in no particular rush to introduce mine
I'm not in a hurry to introduce mine, either. Still, one of us has to get started first if we're going to get started at all. I think I'll go first just to get this over with, since it probably won't be too long and complicated.

Should Mystic attempt to/actually destroy Bridle Shores? If she did, she'd probably go for the letter of the demand, not the spirit. AKA, destroy the town, but without any casualties.

I would say it wouldn't make much sense for her to do that now, considering how her shtick is she wants to make it an even/fair fight. If she wrecked the town now, they'd be left defenseless, which is just as good as killing them. It wouldn't be a wipe in the traditional sense and it would still leave the high-powered ponies potentially alive, but most of the town would likely die from her actions. Not exactly what I think you're going for with this character.
Also, I gave the response of "no missions in the area" 1) Because it made sense and 2) Because I'm super burnt out from this semester, and I don't think I could handle a mini-adventure with Mystic on top of what's about to happen. She will get the chance to do a little more than spying in a bit, so there is always that. If she needs something to keep her superiors off her back, she could accept a mission slightly farther away, but still leave troops behind to ensure nopony else muscles in on her prey before the time is right.

Good point. I'm just kinda tired of having nothing to do in this RP.

Yeah, not quite. My intent would be more of a forced exodus.

Sounds good. I understand being burnt out. I'm going to be the same way after this week.
I just want to have something to do in the RP, y'know?

I understand. Given the circumstances of Crisis being busy and all, and your only other pony is a villain, interactions can be kinda hard to come by.
My advice? Have your other ponies be back in town on a resupply/restocking run, before they've headed out to the desert. Gives you something to do while waiting for that plot to pick up again, without breaking continuity.

Remind me, what is Mystic's relation to the ponies Juribean just mentioned? I seem to recall it not being good, but I want to be sure.
If she has any reason to know about Regal at all (Remember that she has a ton of spies) then I know what her next reaction is going to be.
Well Regal's business is weapons. He sells weapons. To anyone who is paying. Mystic would know that.
He also a fire noble form one of the Houses that supported Luna. So Most unaware ponies would see him as good. But he is evil and just joining the bad guys. Mystic would know he is bad but he never technically break laws. Only if she was very watchful of Equestria politics like the vile nobles and corrupt businessponies, she wouldn't know what in particular he is up or why. Like why he funded the invasion of Bridle Shores.

How much would it derail the plans of the Dark Forces if Mystic suddenly went rogue?
I don't believe it's going to happen any time soon (Especially if she thinks Faithful Song is on their side), I was just wondering for the sake of something I planned on discussing with somepony tomorrow.
I imagine not a huge amount, but maybe a battle or two, along with a plan or two of theirs going to hell in a handbasket?

Agreed. These are the ponies that came along with the reign of Iron Hoof; losing one high-level officer isn't going to ruin them by any means. It'll certainly be a setback, but not a major one. It could go up to moderate setback, depending on the "when" and "how".

Dude...the Dark Forces............its a horrible villain group, in a lame way. With members having had already died, one with a player considering going rogue, one who rarely appears or provide input anymore, one that's only using the group for funding, and then one who's only using it to further their needs, its such a directionless group xD..Dx

"How" would probably be best summed up as "Roaring Rampage of Revenge." with a few terrible movie references thrown in because she feels like it.
Just to get this straight, how long have Silverpine and Gearstride been gone? I've got them at longer than an hour right now, but a closer estimate would help my planning.

First finding information on to access the entrance, some exploration, bat interlude, more exploration, dragon dealings, running for their lives....yea, actually, I think probably more than an hour. Like an hour and twenty minutes at least.
