Re: Gotham OOC II: We don't need no G*****n Batman!
You would be correct. It would be something like:
"...Faced against the last currently known High Madame of the Religion of Crime Alice (real name Elizabeth Kane, see file for more information). Current Whereabouts of High Madame unknown, presumed deceased..."
Re: Gotham OOC II: We don't need no G*****n Batman!
Guys, please accept my apologies for my recent silence: work has been uncharacteristically busy, since we're gearing up for Black Friday. When you add to that the recent release of Skyrim, you've got me with very little free time. Still, I should have made more of an effort to contribute, and I'm sorry that I didn't. There's been a lot of good roleplaying since my last post; you should be really proud of yourselves. I've enjoyed reading through it to catch up. Kudos to all of you.
Re: Gotham OOC II: We don't need no G*****n Batman!
On a related note, don't spoil Arkham City for me - I've tried to stay as spoiler free on that game as possible, and it finally drops for the PC on Friday.

You really, really should. I bought it the night it came out, and it's the first game I've purchased in years that actually feels worth the money that I've spent on it. If you get it at a bargain... you won't regret it, I can almost promise you that.

Yes, Kate met Ambush Bug. No, she didn't tell you guys about it. Heck, for all I know, maybe there's only one Ambush Bug, and he can jump in and out of stories and universes as he desires.

Skyrim owns my soul.

Re: Gotham OOC II: We don't need no G*****n Batman!
Okay.
We'll be starting the next arc probably within that time frame, so I'll just use your latest JIC roll for anything that might come up at the start of it.
Re: Gotham OOC II: We don't need no G*****n Batman!
Groovy.
Sophistemon and ChronicLunacy, please get your characters through the portal so we can get the next arc moving. As things are going, the third arc, which is supposed to be the Christmas Annual, is going to happen in January or Feburary next year.
Re: Gotham OOC II: We don't need no G*****n Batman!
You may post IC final reactions to the arc in your first post of the next one.
OOC feedback is highly appreciated; PM me if you have any comments or concerns. I'm still not satisfied with the description of the ending.
Reset all hero points to their normal amount. They will not carry over between arcs.
EDIT: Everybody gets 2 additional pp, and you are also all PL 11 now. That being said, you are NOT allowed to shift any additional pp around without PMing me with specifics and a good reason, and my approval.
Re: Gotham OOC II: We don't need no G*****n Batman!
I liked it!
If I have one complaint, it's a minor one: I would have enjoyed more time to interact with the heroes of the Official Universe*, but I understand that things need to be moved along. It is ... kind of disappointing that Official Bolton was likely destroyed in the Universal Conflagration mere moments after our Lock-Up asked for his attempted redemption, but cookies will crumble as they will. All-in-all. I thought it was interesting. To have a member of the official Batman team call Lock-Up a good person means a lot to him, and to me. Should I take that as a sign that I'm playing him right?
I'll need to take a good, hard look at my character sheet to see if anything needs changing; I don't really think so, at the moment. I keep thinking to myself, "You very rarely ever use the Polymath power", which is true; I often forget that I have it, so my skills are lacking. I could maybe dissolve it into actual skill ranks and additional feats. But then I think, "But what if I need it?" And then my Internal Congress gets all riled up and Preston Brooks starts wailing on Charles Sumner until I let things rest as they are.
If I think of something, I'll let you know. There may be something that I could do with the Gadgets power ... But I'll send you a PM if I think of it.
Re: Gotham OOC II: We don't need no G*****n Batman!
I liked the ending and the metatextual farewell. It was very Morrision, but in a good way, and I get the feeling that you'll be experiementing with different styles of comics throughout these arcs. At least, I hope so . On Katherine's side, I think her alternative story was pretty complete and all sewn up, although she and Luigi still need to have a little talk about what she said to the crazy bat-person.
As for the pps, I'm not sure. I think I'll use one to grab the Minion feat for Steph and the other one either on pumping up my Will Save to the max or doing the same to some of my skill ranks.
