I decided to start with Karp Karp. I had heard that if you had the patience to train a Magikarp that they evolved into powerful beasts.

Your Magikarp has suffered massive head trauma, the most likely cause of it is something you did, but aren't telling us, or it's previous trainer beat it for not evolving. Unfortunately it's rather common, Gyarados are rather powerful and most people don't have the patience to wait for it to evolve, and want it to evolve now.
Wow. Well don't Karpkarp I won't beat you. The damage may heal after evolution. But there is no guarantee, and it may only partly heal.

Also fun fact Illven refuses to eat pokemon based meat. He has no problem with eating a hamburger, but he draws the line at sentient creatures. This pretty much limits his diet to berries. (Even vegetarians can eat grass pokemon)

Moderately Good for Illven, Mildly Evil is probably fine for Melinda. She eats Pokemon and psychologically tortures Jango. If she hadn't *attempted* to stop Endo from infesting Surge, she may well have fallen into Moderately Evil.
I don't tend to pay mind to Chaos/Law spectrum quite as much.

To be fair Melinda said no because she was worried about the consequences, not because she cared. She doesn't know Surge.

Voltorb: Jack, it served as a children's toy for years. Finally escaped.

For Vultorb - Rorre3857: Like Poke-Ball, it was created from a poke-ball in an area with high concentrations of static electricity (the power plant), but in Kanto these pokemon are being studied. Error3857 was defective, however, and can only speak in backward text and symbols, so it was booted from the program
Geodude - The Boulder suggestion once again. Machop - Haddock - Drunken sailor, got shipwrecked on his last voyage. Best described as functioning alcoholic. Onix - Rammer - Living artillery piece from the bear wars. Might have taken a few too many hits to the face while ramming down enemy fortifications. A bit slow but kind. Zubat - Dambat - Excruciatingly obnoxious, but due to some law that has declared Zubats endangered [must be a bear plot!], nobody is allowed to touch him.
