I think that her trying to make the porygon like gramps shows that she actually does care about her friends. She definitely isn't a nice person, because she doesn't care about the lives of people she doesent know(poor oddish.) but she genuinely feels bad that gramps is dead. There's hope for her yet!

Well that's pretty much her only admirable trait (although I haven't had much chance to show it) Extreme loyalty to close friends and family. It's everyone else that she doesn't care about.

Okay next time we brave the tower of necromancy (Lavender tower) We can find Gastly, Haunter, and Cubone. If it's Gastly or Haunter should it be Rainbow, or someone else, and what should Cubone's personality and name be?
Cubone should be practically a child, and thus lack a name until the team names it (preferably by one of the crazier members of the team). It was orphaned when Marowak was killed.
EDIT: Also, nice reference to the Rafflesia flowers that Vileplume are based on.

Cubone: Carter - That ain't no ceremonial helmet, that there is a hard-hat. You see, Carter is a bit of a demolitions expert. Those ground type moves? mostly him setting off grenades and bricks of dynamite.

Good point. Maybe an occasional guest slot as the team's ground type, and should the worst happen to Thumbs, s/he is ready to swoop in and fill in.
Also, since I noticed I've been using "a favorite" for every other pokemon of late, figure I should clarify: Arcanine, Ninetails, Houndoom, Marowak and Steelix lines are amongst my personal favorites. There are dozens I like, but those are the ones that I always look back to fondly.

Nightmare fuel is really easy for me. (Especially in Kanto. Besides the shrooms causing Endo pain, Endo's evolution isn't exaggeration it's plain fact. Golbat's don't stop draining blood until they are too heavy to fly. Lavender town either way gives nightmare fuel. Either we have the pokemon that are instinctively driven to butcher their mothers and wear the skull and wield the femur. Or the creature that can kill an Elephant in seconds)
