Yeah, I kinda figured that was what everyone used because of the combat example. I just wasn't sure since the official listing is Improvised Weapon, and in the example the 1d8+4 was because "Jimmy" was a martial artist with a "fist weapon." Kruuf isn't a martial artist, and while I was just now reading through the PHB I saw that improvised attacks actually add the strength mod for damage. Which in Kruuf's case is actually a -2.

It's true, and after this fight Kruuf will likely see the wisdom of doing such. But up until this point, I didn't think she would have had cause to do so. For RP purposes, I couldn't think of a weapon that would fit her personality or background.

But yeah, after we get back to town, there will be shopping. On a related note, I can't believe I didn't actually remember to get any healing related items... which would have been perfectly justifiable for her character.

So I probably should have asked this yesterday, Arcran, but what kind of damage should I be rolling with my non-weapon, non-martial artist improvised attacks?
