That is a really awesome sentence, but I can't put my finger on why.

Hopefully it's not because I missed a word...
I'll go fix it.

So...We've been asked to move out. Because our other housemates aren't happy with us for no reason and have threatened to move out, which the landlord can't afford. He's very apologetic and has promised to be a good reference and give us our bond back with no problems, but still. We've nowhere to go, we gotta try for the end of the month and we gotta try to have it be somewhere we can get all our stuff, including two cats. Goddammit, I was so happy here ;w;

This was mostly my own fault. Since I volunteered to lead on Sunday, I figured someone should ask what was going on on Friday, just in case. I knew our pastor had an idea of what he wanted to do, but he hadn't said anything about music and I wanted to check. Which lead to him saying 'I've picked these songs, but I don't want any musicians. Having a lead voice would be helpful though, thanks'. Then I told him we needed at least one musician (I can sing, but I can't keep to a key without help)... then he went and changed the songs on the day... then I changed the songs on the day, so I suppose I can't really complain about that one. And thankfully I didn't screw up

Oh honey... I'm sorry I hope you find somewhere soon... I know how it feels. Last time we left a place we didn't find somewhere else to go til a week before we had to be out. It's stressful. Makes me wish I lived in Melbourne so I could give you somewhere to crash. *hugs*

Anuan: Additionally, if you find nowhere else, a hostel/backpackers place may be an option for temporary accommodation. Cheaper than other temporary accommodation, has even cheaper weekly rates, won't lock you down to 6 month contract. Drawbacks include a lack of storage space and a general lowering of security. If you can find a place that has a two person room, you can book the whole room out and only you two (and the staff) will have the key.

When I stayed in a Melbourne backpackers, there were people living permanently in my room. They had work in Melbourne and was their home for as long as the work remained.

Wow. I suck at getting things done, I spend half the day panicking because I've so much work that needs doing, and instead of doing any of it I spend my time planning how it can be done latter...

And sometimes I wonder why I tend to bounce from one bit of assessment to the next. Oh well, C'est la vie.

If it's a system that works for you, don't worry about it.

You remind me of a friend of mine. She wouldn't start on her assignments til the day before they were due, and she always got A's on them (we hated her )... but as she pointed out once, she didn't start writing til the night before - but in the leadup, she did what you seem to be doing, she planned it all out, and she also did whatever research was necessary. It still seems like a bizarre way of doing things to me, but it worked for her. If your grades aren't suffering and if your mental health isn't suffering, then don't worry about it

Oh, fraptious day! Almost exactly a year after our old dog died of kidney failure, our adorable puppy is in emergency surgery for a clogged intestine.

Thanks God, this one's a real winner.

Of course, instead of blaming omnipotent beings who I somehow doubt have taken the time to personally sabotage our dog's (and indirectly our family's) life, I could always just, you know, clean up the house properly so that he can't continue to eat whatever he's eaten. But logic is for jerks, so I'm going to go ahead and pretend that there was absolutely nothing either myself or others could ever, possibly, have done to help prevent this.

Not that it doesn't suck.

Ouch. I'm only worrying about whether I can get a few TAFE assessments done on time, which is pretty small compared to what everyone else is experiencing. Here's hoping you all pull through!

Was a little upset last night. A good friend of mine on WoW was going to take a job that means he'd be out of contact for 6 weeks plus, the job changed, he didn't take it, but he still wants time away from WoW (the only way I can contact him). I can't help but feel like it might be my fault. :/

On another topic.. I've come to a realisation that I am such a clingy person when it comes to people I have feelings for. I must break out of that habit..

And, Phantom Of The Opera has such a good soundtrack. ^_^ My favourite songs are Phantom Of The Opera, The Music Of The Night and The Mirror (Angel Of Music). :3

Lucky! I couldn't afford to at the time. I was so jealous that my Dad bought my Stepmum tickets for her and a friend to go for her birthday. /sigh

I'm listening to it so much I'm unconsciously singing the lyrics. xD

Pup should be fine. Emergency surgery ended at 2am, and was a complete success. He's a little lethargic now, and we're $3,000 out of pocket (though I'm told insurance should cover all but a few hundred, thank God!) but we're assured he'll be alright. With a few days rest.

Unfortunately for me, a few days rest is what we could all use. He's timed it perfectly - Mum and Dad are about to head off to Sydney (Dad's already there, mum goes Midday tomorrow) and my brother is already down in Bendigo, meaning that the same day I'm meant to finish the term (a big deal in year twelve, as I'm sure you all know (especially when mid-terms start at the end of the holidays)) I'm actually going to be watching his every move.

Who needs relaxation? I've got violent outbursts!

Well, we found a new place. It's a little out of our budget, but if we live frugally we can stay there a couple months til our friends come down, we're going to all find a place together. This is assuming the landlord sticks to his deal and we get our bond back drama-free...

If the dog is fine, then you don't have rabies.

Went to the hoss-pit-al, as it was after the doctor place thingy was closed. They cleaned it up, applied antibiotic lotion, then dressed it and gave me a tetanus shot.

Yeah, I had a similar thing happen. Although it was less 'bite' in my case and more 'overeager dog jumps at me and accidentally grazes me'.

In other news- anyone wartching the Sydney Triathlon today? I'm actually helping out with the timing people.

Tell that to all the bats flying around that can kill most people with a bite because of the amount of diseases they have. Rabies included.

You must be getting Rabies confused with Australian Bat Lyssavirus.
They're similar, but not the same.
Rabies just isn't in Australia.

However, the aforementioned Lyssavirus can be deadly, but it rarely infects human.

Sigh. Sorry to keep using you guys like a personal diary of whining, but the place we were looking at turned out to be a no go for various reasons.

So at the moment I'm looking at homelessness =/ We can't share a house again since my fiancee and I have both nearly had breakdowns over it and she's got pretty bad social anxiety in the first place. We've got a friend that's maybe considering possibly moving in with us at least temporarily, but it's really hard to find a place in our budget even with her bringing in more money to the equation and it's nothing set in stone. So...yeah...Unless I suddenly find all the various friends that owe me little bits of money paying up all at once (already checked, can't happen) so that I've got a couple hundred dollars extra for a little while, bond/first-month rent etc...bad things're happening =/

Uhh, my girlfriend (who's a vet) and all her vet friends that are readily available say that bat's carry rabies. There's a reason they wear leather gloves when working with bats :-/

Huh... I thought it wasn't here.
Looks like I was incorrect.

Though, even I am correct and there is no rabies, you should wear gloves when handling bats anyway because they carry other diseases.

According to NSW Health, there's no rabies in Australia and bats carry a different, but related, virus: http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/factshe...infection.html

Anuan: I don't have any healpful advice. So I'll just say that you chould move to Central Queensland! We'd have a ball.
