Did he succeed at hitting? I can't tell with your rolling of paralysis. If it hit, 52/89
The blast of water just hits Nox, splattering the dragon in water. He hisses and bares his fangs before flying and trying to bite the jellyfish Pokémon.
"Maybe we should let them fight it out."
Spoiler
Crunch
AC: (1d20)[17] Hits on 2, lowers defense on 17-20
Damage: (2d12+30)[36]

(The first roll I make for each round of combat is paralysis. You have to roll better than a 6, and you get a penalty each round until you can't move. That hit, so Nox is at 55/89)
Levia shrieks as Nox bites down with both heads, before going still. Remarkably, Nox lets go of her and begins spitting, as Levia must taste horrible.
"Levia! You okay, girl?"
He makes sure that she's still breathing before recalling the tentacruel, as that one got a bit heated.
"Alright, then I guess we're up to Sludge."
With that, he tosses out a muk so big it hits the ceiling, and about a quarter the size of the room itself.
"MUUUUUUK!"
"Oh my... Okay, Nox, get your scaly butt back here. We are going to have a long talk when we get back to the Center." There is a strong tone of anger in his voice as he recalls the dragon. "Dragons, eh? Only one I've ever tried to train. Okay, Ambrule, I believe in you. Stop him in his tracks." Ambrule floats back out and fires a dark ray from her body.
Spoiler
Confuse Ray
Target is now confused.

"You do?"
He looks over, and spots Alba.
"So you do. Hm."
He pulls out multiple tools and begins taking measurements.
"Well, I'm still working on synthesizing the poison stone, but I have a few of the others I've been using to compare against. It could be a wager, as I would like to test what advances I have made with my pokemon. Fight the pokemon I trained for this and win, and you get a stone of your choice, lose and you owe me an eevee egg so I can have my own for the purposes of trying the completed product, fair?"
Major: "Breeders aren't exactly hard to find, kid. Heck, you probably know a few. Now, is it a deal?"
Kantolin: It is in fact male! At least, Big C thinks so. Close enough for him. Grimer takes 25 damage! Grimer is down to 39 HP! It flings mud (at least you hope it's mud) at Big C. (mud slap) (1d20)[17]-must hit 2+sp. evasion (1d12+9)[12]-Mud-Slap creates a Column 1-meter wide. All Legal Targets must roll +2 during Accuracy Checks for the remainder of the encounter on 17-20 during Accuracy Check
It tries and fails, slamming an arm against the wall.
"I actually meant to use fire spin, but this works too. Now set it up!" Ambrule backs away and spits a pale blue flame that lazily floats toward the large Muk.
Spoiler
Will-o-wisp
AC: (1d20)[6] hits on 4, burns target
Burns remove 1/10 of the target's maximum HP at the end of each turn. Treat your defense as if it's lowered two combat stages. You may attempt a self cure of a burn on a roll of 17 or higher
EDIT: Didn't cheat, tried rolling for confusion damage but realized that damage is just STAB.

Big C staggered a bit under the ground attack - which reminded Douglas how that particular pokemon matchup went. He wasn't terribly familiar between poison and ground.
This extracted a growl from the nidorino, who stepped forward again and gave another, much more fierce bash with his horn, this time putting gusto behind it.
He then felt Douglas behind him, and glanced to the breeder, who shook his head.
"Hey - calm down. You won't go far with your head in the clouds like that - you have to keep a cool head."
"Rin." Big C did the pokemon equivalent of raising an eyebrow, but did seem to calm a touch at Douglas' words. Truse, for his part, had pulled a Douglas and was back to acting like nothing was wrong - it had been just a lapse in attention, or something.
Spoiler
Big C took (12*2)SuperEffective - 5(Spdef) = 19 damage
Big C is at 77/96
Big C activates Rivalry!
Big C uses horn attack again!
Horn Attack's attack roll (Accuracy +2): (1d20)[19]
Damage roll: (1d12+33)[40]
(Yigads, Big C, that certainly hit.)

Kantolin: Big C splatters the grimer, leaving it slowly reforming. Grimer has lost 30 HP! Grimer is down to 9 HP!
It scoops up the remains of an arm and tries tossing it at Big C, with a whining blorp from some portion of itself. (Mud bomb) (1d20)[12] (1d12+19)[30]
Esprit: You're not sure how, but the muk flows away from the will'o'wisp (high special defense). It tries more mud. (Mud bomb)
Confusion: (1d20)[4] (1d20)[13] (1d12+22)[28]
SpD applies to those moves? Hm, thought it didn't. Dang, there goes Hexing him.
Seems the Muk was too busy avoiding the flame to notice how fast it was going towards the other wall. "Well there goes that plan. Maybe we need to be a bit more blunt in our fighting." Ambrule takes the queu and sets off a wall of flame towards Sludge.
Spoiler
Heat Wave
AC: (1d20)[14] Hits on 4, burns on 18-20

Big C staggered fiercely under that one - it really hit home.
Douglas blinked at that - he hadn't expected an attack that fierce. While Big C was still recoiling, he opted to hurl a pokeball himself - grabbing one of the green ones he'd gotten with Tesla's help.
Truse tensed himself - gearing himself up mentally, as it looked like Big C was pretty hurt from that one, and the first smack of mud still had dazed him a bit.
Spoiler
Big C took (30*2)SuperEffective - 5(Spdef) = 55 damage
Big C is at 22/96... ouch O_o
Douglas uses a friend ball! C'mon luck! (1d100-5)[73]

"Uhhh sure I guess. A few of my friends are still little, but I'll try and put up a good fight." Kara says with a nod.
She looks confused at the new pokemon. "What is that?" She ask surprised. She hadn't seen anything like that at Viridian Forest or on her trips around Kanto.
Oh yeah, ummm I'll start with you Stratos. I've not gotten a chance to see you in combat. She said nodding at the blue dragon. Uhhh I don't really know much about your attacks but do that astonish thingy!
Spoiler
Acc: (1d20)[2] vs 2+defense (flinch 18-20) (Do note I ignore speed evasion due to my ability)
Damage: (1d6+11)[12]
Major: The Golurk ignores your attack fully.
"Meet Bruce. He's a golurk I had soulbonded to the poison type, to see if I could get a stone to work on him via type change. Now, let's start strong! Dynamic Punch, Bruce!" (1d20)[14]-must beat 12+defense
[roll]4d12+34[roll]
"He's not very accurate..." Kara commented, proud of Stratos's amazing dodging abilities, before nodding at Startos. "Try that thing where you breath the firey stuff!"
Spoiler
Dragonbreath (1d20)[15] vs 2+special (no speed) (paralyze on 15-20) (1d20+15)[18]
Bruce hardly notices the dragon fire, but his movement gets jerkier. Bruce is paralyzed! Bruce took one damage. Bruce is at 84 HP. (1d20)[6]-avoid paralysis
"He's best at taking hits, admittedly. Though he does have the Shadow Punch."
Which if he can move, he obliges to demonstrate. (1d10+27)[30]
Kantolin: Putting spin on the ball works out for you, and the grimer is caught! You have the ability to name it before the ABRA system sends it back to your house.
Major:
"Ah, his joints must be locking up from the blast you dealt him. Try the mega punch again, Bruce!" (1d20-1)[10] (1d20)[3]-4+def (2d12+33)[54]
"No, his attacks are 'Punch, punch harder, and punch hardest'. However, you managed to paralyze him with the last dragon breath, and him standing still is 'I regret not owning paralyze heal'. Shadow punch."
Bruce is hit! Bruce takes 15 damage! Bruce is down to 69 HP! (1d20-2)[6] vs paralysis (1d10+27)[36]
"See? Paralysis."
