[Nexus] Influex Border Outpost Typhon

Border Outpost Typhon.

Once this had been a great temple of a god of earth and stone and the fires beneath. But he is long dead.

Now the spidery Regent has made the temple's inner sanctum her radio-neural web, where she commands her forces and oversees the conversion of foes.

Now the hospices are the grisly workshops of the Sawshells as they fix up their comrades and build foes into friends.

The last few remnants of the temple's defenders have fled and regrouped at the most important place in what's left of this ruined city.

Notes about Influex characters:
Each special unit type has a color.
Forboder=Dark Red.
Shatterclaw=Yellow.
Aftershock=Teal.
Sawshell=Blue.
Regent=Purple.

These colors are present usually in dyed streaks in the pilot unit's hair, the hems of their clothing, and the armbands on their field jackets.

Class: Forboder Pilot Unit
Gender: F
Desc: Irukan is corpse-pale, her glossy-black eyes large and her dark hair streaked with dark red. She wears a standard grey brassiere, black tank top with dark red hems, and grey field jacket (with dark red armbands). Her lower body has 6 cybernetic tentacles where legs should be; they end in three-fingered claws with a camera "eye".
Equipment: Outside of her Forboder, she has her claws and an energy revolver.

Irukan F-57 patrols past the hospice block in her Forboder. She's on standard search duty of the temple grounds; she passes a window and one of the great metal jellyfish's camera eyes looks in on the Sawshells working there.

Race: Influex Aftershock Pilot (With the prior species being an Elf)
Alignment: NE/TN
Gender: M
Desc: Terremazza is a tall, pale, elf, with mid-size yellow eyes, and black hair streaked with teal. He wears a white vest, with teal stripes running across it, and light grey pants. His arms have been replaced with bat-like wings.
Equipment: Other than his Aftershock, he has an energy rifle, and an enrgy revolver.Aside from that, I'd guess the vest might be armored?

Terremaza A-19 landed his Aftershock in front of a narrow alley. He's on a sweep of the city, and hadn't been able to see into it from above.

After a moment to allow the craft to balance, he checked his systems, and slowly advanced into it.

Race: Influex Sawshell Pilot Unit (original race: Nereid )

Class: Sawshell Pilot Unit
Gender: Female
Desc: Sarash's body is covered in a thin bluish natural armor, her eyes glow with an inner white light. Despite the armor she is still quite curvaceous, and it can be told that she was a beautiful creature in life.Around her shoulders is a loose black shawl, an artifact of her non Influex life.
Equipment: She carries basic medical supplies and a energy pistol.

The forboder will see Sarash's badly injured unit, a piece of luck on the humans part allowed a strike at them, and many died. Those that are left are waiting for other units to come ask for help. They have several bodies bound in strange cocoons, they are being converted to more Influex.

[Beans]

Irukan, within the pilot compartment, rattles her teeth in displeasure. Those humans had no right to cling to a power they could not hope to wield. By all rights they should have laid down and died already.

Ah well.

She reminds herself to check on Sarash when she's free.

The Forboder patrols on to see an Aftershock unit clambering into an alley.
Irukan steers the metal jellyfish to hover over the bat machine; her craft is better-suited to the alley than his.

The Aftershock looks up when he sees the Forboder hovering above him, and, stepping back out of the way, motions for it to go first, if the pilot wishes.

[Quinsar]

Sarash keeps working.

The Forboder hovers forward, not sensing anything yet.

[C'nor]

The Aftershock follows, careful to keep the Forboder as much out of the way if it ha to shoot at anything as it can.

[Beans]

Luckily, there seems to be nothing there at this time.

[C'nor]

Terremaza smiles, pleased at the lack of humans, and goes to open a channel to the Forboder, so that he can thank the pilot for their assistance.
