Oooh. This looks like an interesting start to something fun!

The typesetting of the text looks a little off. The fonts are slightly different sizes and the glyphs look a little too close. It's a little off-putting. It might be more noticeable because otherwise visually it looks pretty good.
So, is this a replacement for Bibliography because of the issues with Gaijinmanga?
And they use cards? Very Cardcaptor Yugioh.
You should try to find a real host, though. Photobucket has its limits. And if you're not buying your own webspace to be your own host, find one that leaves you property over your creation. For example, I've heard "horror stories" about ComicGenesis; but at least authors were able to leave with their comic when it happened.

Not really a replacement for the time being, just something I've wanted to do for a while.
As for webhost, I've looked at those places before but never really been good at coding. I guess once this gets far enough I'll start exploring options.
I'm curious as to the card aspect. Part of me doesn't like it as much as Bibliography's sigils, probably just because cards have been done, significantly. It'd be neat for specific cards' number and suits meaning something and being more like an ingrained ability/tattoo, but I think that your obviously leaning toward a more elemental feeling to things.
edit: Also re: hosting, I know there's a few places that have a fairly easy template/uploading system that I've heard of, but I'm unfortunately blanking on them right now.
Also, in other comments, I feel like I really like the black and white, non-paintery style, but I think I'm also biased in that I like defined lines the best.

Interesting. The monologue on the first page felt kind of awkward but it piqued my interest. The second page looks pretty badass. The third page is interesting. I'm guessing the young girl is our protagonist. Though it could also be the guy with the cowboy hat. Which would most likely make the young girl the plucky sidekick.
Anyway, I'm glad to see that you are making stuff again as I love your work. I wish it was more Bibliography as I'm already invested in those characters but I understand why that's not an option.
From the first three pages I'd say I actually prefer this to Bibliography! Though, a non-earth setting and an elderly mage smoking a pipe is always a good way to catch my attention
Hm... there are 13 card values, and 14 elements. Some part of me is saying that this is relevant, and the other part is nagging that I'm assuming it's a normal playing card...

The girl looks like a 10-year old Eve with a different hairstyle and freckles.
If Fairy Tail can have a pink-haired, fanged version of a character from Rave who also looks like Luffy from One Piece, Elagune is allowed to make younger versions of his own characters act as models.
Especially since Manga characters often look almost exactly the same aside from hair style and facial decoration anyway
