When I saw the town I didn't think "Westrn themed setting" so much as "Western themed town". I'm betting that other areas of the world will have their own themes

It's theoretically possible for Mom to survive the first chapter, but only if Wendy gets unjustly cheated out of her savings or that thaumacard gets stolen. I'm guessing it's not going to be that, though, if only because I think this comic is going to be more "Fantasy Action" than "Fantasy Tragic Cycle of Poverty."

Seriously, though: If you're saving up for some big, important investment at the start of the story, you're going to either get all your hard work destroyed at the last second or wind up losing the very thing you hoped your investment would help. Those are literally the only two options.

Sounds a little bit cliche, but still interesting. We'll see where it goes.
The face of the mother in the panel before the last one on page three is drawn very, very beautiful.

I think he was waiting for the big content update before starting the next chapter of Terraria. But given the long wait, maybe he's lost motivation even though it's now here?

New page up!

I stopped Terraria Adventures after my workload at school built up, and now I think I lost all my notes for it. That, and a shaky plan for what was going to happen, ended up draining my motivation to work on it. Maybe someday in the future.

Also, I realized I would need to constantly restart the game to keep up with the latest items and what not. The amount of time I needed to sink into playing didn't work for me.

And the guy from the chapter's page arrives! Main character A and B just met!

There is now about a 50% chance of an explosion/murder/world-shaking event in the next two or three pages!

Oh, and lastly, 75% of all statistics on the internet...

It's hard to take the mysterious stranger vibe seriously when they're chewing on jerky. Its just not a good mystery food.

To be honest, I don't think I'd want to chew on "mystery jerky".

I can't let this pass without pointing out a rather interesting "Fantasy Tragic Cycle of Poverty" webcomic (though the fantasy part is somewhat questionable so far) Modern Fried Snake. Check that out of you're into that stuff.

Well thats sad to hear. the videos of terraria adventure have 30.000-65.000 views and evryone ask where the next part is.

Btw you stopped making Bibliography becuse Gajinmanga stopped paying you right? If they havent contacted you yet, I think its becuse they are bankrupt. No one is posting new pages of comics anymore, the last new page for a comic was 17 November. So I guess you are not the only one who stopped getting paid.

If what TOLGA607 said is correct, Elagune you may have to act quickly to make sure you can get your intellectual property back. Don't sit on that and accidentally let the time period expire.

We don't know much yet, but the mystery of Thaumaturgy and Mr. Mysterioushat are intriguing.

Thanks again for the words of encouragement. I haven't had an opportunity to shoot off an e-mail to Gaijinmanga again, but I think I'll probably be able to soon.

Anyway, enjoy the new page!

It's like I said. Jerky is not mysterious. If anything, jerky is in the comedic food group, with bananas and cream pies.

I have a feeling that it's going to be Wendy looking after this stranger throughout the adventure, not the other way round. Now I'm even more psyched for this comic!

Great job Elagune, only two comics and this guy is already interesting. ^_^

I do wonder if anyone will think of using that jerky as a weapon, it knocked out the title page character!

Excellent page, Elagune.

Well it might not qualify as food anymore, but it still can be called a culinary experiance. I wonder, how do you go about making things hot, but with a delayed effect as seen here.

Plenty of capsaicin (AKA chili pepper), very little liquid. I'd imagine Jerky would be the best medium for stuff like that. "Fireweed Salsa" sounds like something made with a number of peppers (real) and a few setting specific grasses with a lot of other hot chemicals.

Now that I think about it, this is quite cruel: natural instinct for bad tastes is to drink water. In this case it would only make things so much worse - it's like a grease fire. I wonder, if flushing your mouth with olive or any other oil would help.
