Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
Can't believe we don't have any takers yet. If we don't get any interest, we can always move forward with 4. We have the roles covered, but I don't know how much of a loss the 5th character is in paragon.

Huh, my post isn't showing up... Grr, I'll have to re-write it.
Yeah, rewriting really stinks. I'm frequently getting problems when I post throughout the day, just different ones at different times. I've learned to do a quick CTRL-A (highlights everything written) and CTRL-C (copies it all) to make sure I don't lose anything. That goes for PMs as well.

I am going to have to get into that habit again

What is your ruling on the First Strike feature, Fell? There is no defined term for "acted". That could mean "is surprised", but that would be a surprise round, or it could mean "hasn't acted in initiativae", or it could be something else.

Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
Regarding the CF/KD mixup, I thought that it was the dragonborn (since I couldn't find it anywhere else on the map) but wasn't sure. Since there was a CF in the NPC section, I went ahead and added the damage there. You can update the spreadsheet (or I can do it later today).
Where do we put the damage for the enemies at? In the comment?
Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
I've got my turn ready, but I'm going to wait for the others to act as my power grants them attacks, and as far as I can tell no one has weapons readied (aside from Vaine). Unless you'd let them draw their weapons as part of the attack, I'll hold off.

FIRST STRIKE
At the start of every encounter, you have combat advantage against any creatures that have not yet acted in that encounter.
To me that says "Has not acted in initiative yet".

I updated the Enemies' statistics section. I removed THP (not really that relevant for Enemies) and added a Damage Taken category. This column is meant to be a running tally of how much damage an enemy has taken. It is to be maintained by the Players. His official HP will be maintained by myself and listed in the HP section...
Of course, honestly, if we're going that far... What do you guys think - should I just give the HP total to you guys and let you subtract your damage from it? Seem like that might be the better rout at this point. Opnions?

I prefer not to know the HP of the enemy, but however you want to run it is fine.

Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
My only concern with knowing the hit points of enemies is that, in paragon, many of them may have resistances that we don't know about. If we deal damage enough to kill one, but it would've lived had we applied the resistances correctly, then that could affect players going after the fact. Having to "redo" actions is a pain. That said, it's helpful to know when a creature is bloodied if we have any abilities, etc. that trigger on bloodied enemies (or allies, but that's easy to see). Vaine does not have any such abilities, just so you know.

That's actually a very good point.
Ok, running total it is!

Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
I'll just post this here.
Immediate Reaction: (Vine attack on Bren)
Shield of Devotion: Bren heals 15 damage.

Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
If the mage was stunned, then I assume he didn't raise two skeletons we killed, but the remaining two still acted. If so then Cav will use Shield of Devotion after the Karn Dragonborns claw attack that hit Bren for 13 damage (the last one).

Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
Ah. Well...who did take damage that turn? I think Saal did, so he'll get the Shield of Devotion use and regain 15hp.

Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
Ah, then take your healing, sir!
Also, I opened up a charge lane for Saal, and Bren should have a clear charge lane open as well.

Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
Heh heh, sorry Chambers. I know all you want to do is heal me. I will gladly accept the healing. It seems the dragonborn did in fact land that last hit, since without the Combat Advantage Brennen would have gained from the Stunned mage, he doesn't have Concealment. That said, my use of Shield Block completely negated the damage. So with Chamber's Shield of Devotion, Brennen took a total of 2 damage .
That power bonus to attack rolls really came in handy as well Chambers, considering I rolled two 2s in a row on my attacks. Good thing I can target Reflex and teleport into flanking positions .
Yeah Sploosh, it looks like you're just outside of range.
@Felhammer: Are the guards escorting the dragonmarked delegates away?

Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
I've taken my turn. Can someone update the spreadsheet for me? Let me know if you have any questions, but the summary block should tell you what you need to know.
Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
Hmm... now that we've lost Khaz, Brennen needs another Bonded Charge. It could be Vaine, if you'd be interested Emo, or, depending on who gets selected to replace Khaz, it could be Blend the warforged warlock or Shadow Elf's witch. (It needs to be someone with a poor basic attack I think.)
Re: The Dragonshard War [4E Eberron Campaign] (OOC)
I'm willing to do the Bonded Charge thing, but more information is in order. He has a decent RBA (Mind Thrust unaugmented), but his MBA is obviously weak (can I even hit someone with the orb?).
