Yes, though you can see it in reply, post a bump and edit it so it is a response.

I've become confused. What's this about "spirit wolves"" and a gate of trees? I haven't seen anything that makes sense of those comments yet.

You found a group of wolf dens, Keharn called them spirits, Elbone did as well, Canioun walked away. Elbone got the wolf to show you something.

I think the part that he missed is that we went through a magical doorway to get to where we first thought the person would be.

Looks like I'm going last, oh well, better inti than something more important.

Who is still with us anyway? So it's me, Elbone, Caunion and possibly Domas? I haven't seen him post in a while so we'll see if he rolls for initiative.

If they don't respond, will you play their characters or will they do nothing?

I'm not sure, because Domas cannot beat the Murk Lurker, I'll roll for him and continue the battle.

I also apparently missed this. Darn. I'm still here, just haven't been posting too much. Thanks for the clarification with the Gate of Trees, by the way.

It's fine, I'm using your roll because it doesn't slow anything down, though it doesn't change much.

I think we all know how D&D 3.5 has badly worded rules for drowning, and due to what very well will happen soon, I believe the following sentences should be added at the end of the drowning rules:

A character Ceases to drown if they are given a source of air. If you cease drowning, and are at negative HP, you still are bleeding out.

Also I think the wording should be changed it so it Reduces your HP to 0 in the first round, -1 in the second.

Does anyone agree to this version of drowning, if you don't, could you give an idea of how to change it so it does make sense. I'm sorry for doing this last moment though I didn't think of it before now.

I've got no problem with it, though I'd like to know if Domas is drowning now, being unconscious. Yay for stabilization, though!

I really think we should stay out of the water if we can. Either we lure it onto land where we're safer or if it can't come onto land, problem solved. I'm not saying we have to, but it doesn't seem like we've been doing well with what we're doing now.

How is your modifier so low? Yeah, you should get onto land ASAP. I think I'm going to have to jump in to save Domas but I can't let the dogs go. So either someone else has to hold onto the leash for me, someone else should jump in, or risk letting Domas drown.

Shazek: Sorry for not answering earlier, the forum was really slow yesterday and kept not letting me connect to the page. I quit trying before I saw your post. I don't think you can hold your breath while unconscious because it requires conscious action.

Haven't you taught the dogs to stay?

Nevertheless, I have a swim modifier of 0 so if needed I could go after Domas... although, the Murk Lurker would get an AoO on me... unless, I made a jump check to attempt to clear the river, although, I have a jump modifier of 0 as well...

I'm just typing my thoughts down so that I don't lose them so, feel free to ignore this...

I'm not sure exactly how the animal training works, but only 2/3 passed the check and I don't think they actually know it until training has finished. I've still got a few days left but maybe I can make a more difficult check to try to use it now?

Yes, it would be easier, the DC would be 10 lower (DC 20 normal, if trained DC 10, 2/3 of the way through training) for the ones you will successfully teach the stay trip.

Alright well, it's probably better if you try it then Eric. I'm not any better at swimming and/or jumping than you and I don't want to risk losing a dog.

Alright, if I tell the dogs to stay, how many die rolls do I have to make? So just 3 (1 per dog) or is there something else to it?

If you can carry the person, and the person isn't awake, you don't need a check, you if you can't carry the person, you need to make a strength check.

I took the flaw that gives -2 on physical ability checks and skill rolls.
