I figure if it was a wyrmling and we rolled well, we might actually stand some small chance of killing it.
How many of us are geared towards combat? You are for sure, but I don't know that anyone else is. Me and Elbone aren't and that one guy had a sling. I guess the dogs would have helped if we could have gotten them to attack it.
Sorry for jumping the gun with Twal. I had expected to knock him out in one, particularly after that damage roll. I went ahead and edited out the part where I picked him up. I also kinda forgot about improvised tools. Not that it would matter to Domas that they could get him in a fishing net, but still. I have a horrible bluff, by the way, and wouldn't really mind if we have to kill him.
I'd rather not kill him, but he's not cooperative and I don't think there's much to be gained by keeping him alive. I dont really like the way that nonlethal damage works in DnD but no one here did anything wrong. It seems unrealistic that smashing someone squarely in the head with a spiked club as hard as you can wouldn't do much to them, but I guess DnD isn't really mean to be realistic. Whatever, let's just deal with what we've got now.
We could take a vote I guess. The options I see are:
Kill him
Beat him up with Nonlethal damage
Or else try some kind of diplomacy but it's far too late for that.
I'm not sure, that's why I mentioned it. Looking at the thread, there was nothing to indicate either way, so it is a distinct possibility that he is there but quiet. I doubt we can bluff him into not believing his eyes, so we had best hope he is absent.

Well I haven't even heard of him, but I guess we didn't really do the whole "introductions" thing so I could have just not heard anything from him. Still, maybe he isn't a goody-goody. If like 6 players are willing to not care, maybe one npc wouldn't either.

Freddi isn't with you. The attack didn't hit squarely, HP represents the ability to keep fighting, that attack hit, though it didn't hit full force. It's not that it didn't do much to him, he is just barely holding on, he just has a big mouth.

Yeah, I don't think you handled it incorrectly. I just remember my friend played DnD for the first time and he brought a sap to knock people out. We were level ten and he didn't really understand that 1d6 damage would never knock someone out. Just one of those things in DnD like using a greatsword while riding a horse that doesn't make any sense in real life.
Yeah, I left it up to them whether they would follow me, I don't really like dictating actions for the group, but I'm fine if they did. I just felt it was about time for someone to go.
This has become a little weird since people seem to know what was said before they came in. Should we assume people are entering as they begin to speak or should we assume we were all in there from the start?
