It seems the forum is bugged again. I made another post in the IC and it isn't appearing.
You can read it from your profile page. Try posting it again and see if it works this time. Also, your message here didn't update my subscriptions... weird. Seeing lots of problems these days.
Aradin: "From what I know, you need to know magic, If you don't it is very hard without the help of someone who does. I don't know magic so I can't help you there. The priests of the Soulforger will likely know more."
Just to specify, from some point I noticed that Artificer base class would fit nicely to this guy, and their magic- infusions, are neither divine nor arcane and this was the type of magic I had in mind. If possible I would like to go this way with this character.

Yes, I was thinking of that, there also are some Prestige Classes that can. (I think) Maybe in the long run, though I don't own any eberron books. I'll think about it though I don't know very much about it besides it is Tier 1, and makes/enhances magic items. From This article I can figure out WotC's view and some of its powers though I'm not clear on crafting reserve or on good/bad saves (The article says it has a good will save, a bad fortitude, reflex and, will save)

As for class features, more or less he gets Item Creation feats as fast as they are available, so scribe scroll, brew potion, craft armor/weapon etc. he crafts items without spells, instead of magic he uses Use Magic Device skill check (DC 20 + caster level) to
emulate each spell normally required to create the item.
the craft reserve is 'bonus experience' that can only be spent on crafting 20 on level 1 then 40,60,80... when you advance you loose the unused craft reserve.
That is most of what I can remember/ read from one of my character sheets right now, if there are any questions I would probably be able to check tomorrow.

Normal amount of time, but there are feats which reduce: cost of raw ingredients/ cost of exp/ cost for the purpose of time of crafting to 75%
(one for each)
Custom items- as always, depends if DM allows it
Yes he can spent his own exp, the reserve is for him not to loose to much each level, he gets spell-like infusions which often have material or experience component, and his main source of dealing damage are magic items he crafts (mostly wands I think, but he also gets Craft Homunkuli on... 5 level?... so he can also make small constructs )

Gnomegninjas, did you get an extra bit of xp somewhere that I didn't see? I'm at 900 and the only time I remember you getting xp that I didnt was your fight with Twal for 75. Was there another time I just didn't see or did I just forget to add something?

I beat Twal, I helped capture him, and in the beginning we beat Twal+Sluun. I'm not sure if I added it up right though I think with the day experience it totals 1050.

Maybe I got it wrong, if you have 1050 then I should have 975 I think.
Hmm, I have 700 800, but it probably is because I joined later.
I don't know if you saw it though I gave the late joiners an additional 100 EXP cause you joined a day late. You should have days x100 +Story/Combat EXP (if you followed a plotline or fought someone).

Isn't it that the second batch should have the same xp for the days they missed but not for the battle we had?

Must have missed it, thanks.

If untrained with no Int mod you have a 50% chance of success. There are three of you, though Domas has an int penalty, still if you all make the check, you have at least a 75% chance of success.

Man, the forum is having so many problems these days. I hate when I write a long complex post and then it gets wiped so I get a short post to sum it up because I don't want to rewrite it. I feel like I need to copy every post I make incase it doesn't go through.
