I've updated, but I don't think I have the patience for technology right now to finish Bali off properly. Maybe later.

Too bad about your internet, hopefully you'll be able (or won't forget) to put the pics and such later when you're in a place with better internet

Yeah, I'll have something eventually. Got a bunch of pictures from Lombok and stuff to post... Even some that are pretty good! :O And lots of snakes!
Archonic Energy: In case, for some reason, you can get it here and not on Facebook: my flight number is D70014, and I get to Gatwick at 8.50pm. It doesn't appear to have been delayed so far.
I've been trying to send you messages, but my phone's being strange. Hopefully we can contact one another... I've given you my phone numbers on facebook, anyways.

Update:
Serps is currently occupying my sofa and Trying to go to sleep, but I think I'm pestering her by sitting on the floor, typing on the laptop instead of just heading in to log onto my desktop instead.

You should have a Full Scottish Breakfast together, and perhaps have a
Burns supper some time. If Serpentine likes fish, Scottish cod and/or salmon should be tried (though my mother claims Norwegian salmon is better). There's also always Angus beef as well.

I did mention that it's Burns' night in about a week, so might see if there's a proper Burns Supper to go to. Complete with poetry, adressing the Haggis and bagpipes and all.

I would really like to meet you.

Re: Serpentine's Travel Diary Thingo-Whatsit
To go into a bit more detail: Europe is the first on my list, simply because it's the most realistically achievable. I can get there quickly, easily and relatively cheaply, and there's quite a few Playgrounders there I'd like to meet. So, assuming I can get a job, it's fairly likely I will get over there.

Yeah. My mistake. I'm so used to people counting Scandinavia as a small continent on its own...

Dragged the Sleeps out to karaoke tonight.
She just did a good rendition of 'Do ya wanna' by Franz Ferdinand.
And she made me chicken soup for dinner.

Just to say, those of us not able to make the meetup will expect an entry on it from Serp- considering we've had no UK diary entries yet.

Serpentine reminds me of a French girl I knew while I was in Angers. (French class school trip.)

That was the morning (well afternoon) after she first tried Irn Bru, and then promptly got talked into mixing Irn Bru with vodka.
I have to say, though, that I had NOTHIng to do with the addition of vodka.
I may have been the cause of her trying Irn Bru, though.

I didn't make her eat anything. I asked her if she wanted a fry up for breakfast/brunch, and she said yes.
