The goblin begins to laugh. [goblinoid]Stupid girl! You have no power.... but his laughter suddenly dies. and then he looks angry. [goblinoid]You dare to defy me!! he roars. And he tries to climb up the pit, unsuccessfully.
Mikani has to agree with Irene. It is somewhat comical watching the Pit Boss goblin, well, get stuck in a pit.
And she turns her attention back to him...
"Yo momma so dissapointed, she reject you if not give what not yours to owner!" She then can't help but smirk... "And dare I do, in pit I put you!"
Those who are observing will notice that he's very determined. With hatred in his heart, he's thrusting his hands into the dirt walls of his prison, and climbing his way out. He's glaring at Mikani, blood dripping from his hands as he pulls them out.
Sophie sighs. We're not getting anywhere, are we? We have no idea how to get Irene's soul back and he's not cooperative. Let's try this... She looks at the goblin and activates an Edge that gives her a perception of the target's supernatural weaknesses, hoping to divine some way of getting what they want.

A sign can be heard from below. If they look over, the Goblin is still held by the Kudzu. He looks up at them, and speaks something in goblin. Please mistress, release me. he sounds tired.
The goblin doesn't laugh, but it does start sneezing. It glares up at them between sneezes. Finally it calls up to them. [goblinoid]If she wants the spirits, she has to pull them to her! he calls up, sneezing between, and sometimes during, words.
The goblin begins to be pulled up by the vines, sneezing as he goes. But no amount of tickling seems to affect him. He does not look happy. Not at all.
"I'm moving him closer to see if you can pull the soul-things out of him, while making him think we're acquiescing to his wishes," Mikani explains. "He's saying if we want them we have to pull them out of him."
A particulary fragrant blossom opens right in front of the goblin's face! With the sweet smell of nectar, but no pollen.
Irene frowns and closes her eyes to concentrate and hold out her hands like a Jedi lifting something. Purposefully like that of course, hoping to pull the soul bits out of the goblin.

Well since this particular part of the adventure has gone on more than long enough and if there's anyone around with willpower it's Irene, she finds the tug-of-war brutal and mentally exhausting, but succeeds in the end at yanking her soul bits from the goblin and returning them to their rightful place with her.

Irene opens her eyes, not particularly disturbed by dust goblin. "What the heck did that mean?" She wonders aloud, before looking back at the goblin slaves to see if they were free.
