Okay guys, this'll be the start of thread five.

I make no apologies for lifting most of this wholesale from the first post of thread four, but if there is anything missing or anything that is horribly outdated, please let me know either in the thread or by PM and I will endeavour to update this post as soon as time presents itself. In particular, I know this applies to some of the events listed here, which I am sure either have happened or are currently underway, and since I didn't follow them thoroughly enough, I cannot be sure which is the case.

Finished Events
Yu-Gi-Oh PbP Tournament. Hosted by Shadow Elf
A knockout tournament between multiple duelists of the Playground. Was eventually won by Shades of Gray (Grey), with Mistral a good second.

Olympians Challenge. Hosted by Blue Ghost
Duelists faced decks themed after various Deities of Greek Mythology. Highlights included Poseidon's defeat by the RNG, with some help from Allan Surgite, and Athena's incredibly long duel with Arachne.

Wicked Gods Challenge. Hosted by Mistral
Three decks centred around the three Wicked Gods were fought in a gauntlet. However, Allan Surgite and his totally-not-overpowered Machina Sedes beat it on the first challenge

Yu-Gi-Oh PbP Christamas Tournament. Hosted by Mercenary Pen
It's yet another Tournament! Won by Mistral due to a no show by Allan Surgite

Active and/or stalled Events
The Exarchs 'Gauntlet'. Hosted by Shadow Elf
Planned to be the base of the next plot arc, in which Exodia's seals are broken, it'll be some sort of gauntlet/relay duel against the three most powerful Exarchs, each using slightly illegal Decks. It'll end with a Duel against Exodia with a very illegal Deck. Currently stalled awaiting the final match.

Duelist Quest. Hosted by Eternal Drifter
According to Drifter, this will be a campaign-style event in which a team of duelists face off against five (IIRC) powerful bosses. (This event has stalled due to lack of participation)

Upcoming Events

Dragunity Challenge. Hosted by Theterran
Duelists will get to challenge 'around 4' different decks, all themed on the relatively new Dragunity Archetype.

Invitation to the Dark World. Hosted by Allan A. Aokage
^ Working Title. A Gauntlet-like event which features the Envoys of the Dark World. Will wrap up the whole Dark World plotline.

Exodus of the Church of Bahamut. Hosted by Altaria87
An event that will exist mainly for RP purpouses. I plan to base it around obscure Duel types eg. Relay, Tag, 2-on-2 and maybe even Turbo

Edit 19/03/2012: Decks updated for March banlist (with copy of September 2011 "These ancient blades" until end of tournament)

Edit 31/12/2012: New decks added for thread-rezz, older ones now rebuilt for September 2012 banlist.

Mercenary Pen, would you be open to a challenge with one of your decks against my Evil Heroes deck? I would prefer to duel a deck from number 3-6. Chaos scares the **** out of me and Samurais are confusing. However, if you are set on those, I am willing to play either.

What do you say?

I accept your open challenge! I'll take any of your decks on!

I also want to see how good my Evil Hero deck is, so I'm sticking with that, rather than the dark megazord. it's upto you whether we have a mirror match (fallen idols) or not.

what is your personae for fallen idols? If it's heroic you could be acting as a mentor figure,otherwise we'll just duke it out for our ideoligies etc.

Ok I'm working on some new decklists for my bad guys I introduced at the end of the last match. They are 4 guys who were built by the same organization which built Dusk. Except they're evil!

They have come to get revenge on their old leader for abandoning them. And they are mocking his choice of deck by using Elemental Heroes as their secondary deck type.

EDIT: Altered Shadow Red some more, exchanged nightmare cage for swords of revealing light (aesthetic choice aside, it's a hindrance), swapped out meteor of Destruction for Infected mail, and added an Ocean and Ice Edge to replace clayman+Stratos.

Edit: Shadow Blue is in the mix, and like his big brother he has a burn deck as well. With a bit of a twist.

EDIT 3: Added an extra deck to Shadow Red, replaced a few cards in the main deck.

Well, I'm not up to scratch with burn decks, but I'll see what I can do.

First things first, Stratos is limited, so you'll need to drop a copy. Second, Why do you need Clayman in this deck? He has a good defence score, but you'd probably be better off setting up two Knospes and having them attack directly. I'd advise filling these slots up with either more Oceans, to keep recycling your monsters, or Ice Edges who can not only attack directly, but can also help out your, rather light, s/t destruction. Finally, is there any reason your running Nightmare's Steelcage over Swords of Revealing Light? Swords lasts for an extra turn and Steelcage prevents you from attacking as well. Other than that it looks fairly sound to me.

Updated the Shadow Red deck. Also added infected mail, a nice bit of direct damage I did not know existed. Thanks for the advice Strategos.

I am need of testing my two bad guy decks, Shadow Red and Shadow Blue. They are both burn decks, but in different ways. Would you be willing to help give me a test run? The third deck I am working on, the Yellow one, isn't a burn deck, but that's not ready yet.

What ya say? In the mood for a duel? Would you mind setting up the scene/linking to the thread? I am on a train using my phone, can't really duel like this.

EDIT: by that I mean I will be on my computer in at max 1 1/2 hours, likely before that. But if you set the scene, I can jump in when I am free, and we can get started.

Just a note for the first post, but the Exarchs Gauntlet did go from planned to active. We went through Illio, Umbra, Shadow, and Haze, but stalled right before the final duel as both Shadow and Allan vanished. Well, it's nothing much, since it was months ago and the IC is pretty much gone now. Actually, looking through the old decks, I've been thinking a bit of an old challenge idea I had.

, I've come up with a few new deck ideas so I'll take Shadow Blue on CoreBrute with Neptoon's Trident if that's alright with you. One thing though Reinforcement of the Army is limited so you'll have to switch two out.
