Mine gets a padded converted dog's basket and a collar, Toy, Slave and Object get a thin layer of staw and a manacle whilst the Temple Slaves get straw pallets. So, better than Azurelle's slaves, but worse than Dalachrech's slaves.
Elezibethele will sleep soundly for six hours, unless Mine does something to wake her up.
Forest Outside the Hermitage
"Exzellent. Pleasze, follow me. Do not deviate from my route; there'sz much worsze than myszelf out here, and all of it isz deliberately cultivated." The ettercap turns and lopes through the forest, easily jumping over the odd fallen tree, taking a large detour around a bush containing a giant preying mantis, avoiding nearly-invisible webs and skirting the edges of centipede pits.
Eventually, unless somebody goes and uses a different path to that of the ettercap, the semi-arachnid monster will lead them to the Hermitage proper. They're still a distance away; a moat of cleared ground surrounds the fortress converted into the Hermitage, dotted regularly with the hidden trapdoors of giant trapdoor spiders. Directly across from them is the front door to the Hermitage, a massive wood-and-iron gate. "At thisz point, I muszt aszk you to wear blindfoldsz. I shall be taking you acrosz one at a time; do not let go of my claw, I won't be goingk back for anybody."
Underside Temple
"I have asked Dalachrech if I might transfer your ownership from Himself to me. He agreed, and will let me mark you as my own." Charynrae smiles, and will try to hug Three.
Unfortunately, this means slicing off the scar of the two-tailed scorpion, and replace it with Charynrae's own brand. This will doubtless hurt, especially as Charynrae also uses the altered healing potions of the Cult.

Three is absolutely giddy. She has been transferred to Charynrae's personal service! Goody! This is good! It is so good, in fact, that Three will not only attempt to return the hug but attempt to concurrently kiss her treasured Reverend Mistress on the cheek in joy!
Three's "thank you"s are punctuated with kiss attempts! Her congeniality and fidelity ratings are out of this world! Charynrae graciously awarded her with the greatest gift the enslaved girl could ask for, believe it or not!
She doesn't figure out that she's going to be harmed because of this switch yet. She hasn't chosen to dwell on the negatives of her "promotion".
And she probably won't until it is too late to ask that a patch of her skin isn't hacked off needlessly.

Waterstrider refrains from growling and steps forward, offering himself up to be blindfolded. Unlike the others, he could always follow his trail back by scent as long as they weren't in there too long.

The ettercap nods. It will try to blindfold everybody before taking Waterstrider by the paw with a claw which isn't exactly suited for holding something firmly but gently and spin Waterstrider around to get him dizzy. Waterstrider will then be led over an incredibly confusing route to the main gate. Around him on the way there, he'll smell carrion, giant spiders, silk, blood and venom.
The same process will be carried out for Brand and Justin. Once all three are across, the blindfolds will be removed.
Mr. Squiggles, however, will be led around the side by a new ettercap that emerges from the forest and across an area free from giant trapdoor spiders. He'll be taken into a large archway built into the side of the Hermitage. The ettercap will chitter goodbye in Spider, make sure there's plenty of food (primarily elf, with human, deer, fox and other mammals mixed in) and water available. A carriage is in one corner; it's well-made, but plain and lacking ornamentation besides a two-tailed scorpion emblazoned on the door. The creature which pulls it, a gigantic red bombadier beetle, is also present. There's signs that a cart was here recently as well, though it's not here now. Dangling from the ceiling is a large eggsac, guarded by a large white snowspider. Pervating throughout the room is a magical effect that should prevent Mr. Squiggles from viewing either of his fellows as prey, predators or competitors, and instead as companions, intended to ensure all the giant arthropods within are content and unlikely to eat each other.
Underside Temple
Charynrae, rather than taking a kiss on the cheek, will instead try and catch it on her lips and turn it into a much more passionate one.
It seems that Three missed the term 'mark you as my own', then.
Hermitage- Elezibethele

Elezibethele will not be awoken by Mine's stealthily sneaking spying.
When she does awake, however, unless Mine has already awoken, she'll carefully unhook his lead from the hook and clasp it around her wrist before yanking it very hard. Since it is still afixed to the collar about Mine's neck, this should wake him up with much coughing and spluttering and a moment of near-suffocation.

She likely did. The key phrase emphasized in her mind associated with the event was "transfer your ownership from Himself to me". That led to her rejoice! The rest of the sentence was just another composition of frilly, ornamental beads to her.
Three is overjoyed by the prospects of higher stakes of this affectionate game! She'll accept the kiss and attempt to raise the bar another step. Passionate Kissing may evolve into Super-Over-the-Top Passionate Smooching!
This new job sure does have its perks.

Mine is thinking about Elezibethele at this very moment. "What the heck is your problem?" is his thought, more specifically, as he awakens from his sleep in panic, coughing and hacking violently as expected. The collar has no doubt dug into his neck and left a minor red mark of some sort with this jerky movement. Mine bolts upright as soon as he deduces what is going on.
He wonders why Elezibethele is so much kinder at night. Then, the cogs in his brain begin turning.
It is because she can't do anything because she is tired and needs sleep.
... Goshdarnit! How is he going to keep Elezibethele tired all the time without landing himself in hot water with her? Figuratively speaking, of course. The literal interpretation of those words would be less of a torture method and more of a reward.

Justin looks around for mister Squiggles after being unblinded. "May I assume you've stabled my Riding Spider for the time being? That would actually be quite kind of you." This would either be really good or really bad. A super intelligent spider would make a darn good spotter. It'd be really useful to have him nearby. But he could be even more useful searching on his own, then relaying it to Brand and him before they leave. Good thing he's no slouch in creeping and crawling in shadows.

Female spiders are usually much larger than the male, because larger females means more eggs which means more young which means more young surviving to adulthood. The same pattern is found in insects, reptiles, fish, dinosaurs and amphibians. Males are smaller so they don't need as much food and in some instances so they don't directly compete with the females, and in the case of preying mantises and spiders so they can provide a good source of protein for developing eggs.
Hermitage- Stables
The snow-spider replies that they are not allowed within the main Temple because of the centipedes. The beetle's response is that giant centipedes roam the upper floors to prevent slaves escaping via the roof, and also to defend the Hermitage from flying foes. The effect present in the stable would not work in the Hermitage as it would also prevent the centipedes from eating anybody that tries to access the upper floors. Centipedes are used rather than spiders or beetles because centipedes are nearly always hungry, and are also unimpeded by human-sized doorways, piles of boxes, most forms of barricades and, if necessary, arrowslits.
Hermitage- Inside
"We have guests. Help me put on a dress, and then we'll go to have a quick breakfast before we meet them. Whilst the guests are here, I want you to sit at my feet and follow three steps behind me. You will not open your mouth or attempt to communicate with the visitors. If you obey, you may assist me in keeping my bed warm tonight. If you do not, I shall take you to the torture chamber. Understand?" Elezibethele will then walk over to the wardrobe and lift her very small and thin nightgown over her head, choosing a dress at random and passing it to Mine.
Underside Temple
Charynrae would widen her eyes at Three's enthusiasm. However, compound eyes equals little ocular expression. So she loops her hands round behind Three and tries to find something to grab.

But, oooo! Mine has been allowed the privilege to dress Elezibethele! How fun! How enjoyable! How exciting! What is slave labor if not menial? Why take pleasure in the little joys life presents? If one doesn't he or she will surely go insane!
Mine nods and hurries to cloak Elezibethele in her dress, savoring the perfect view whilst he can.
And why not? It is a case of either reward or torture. Why not comply with his evil, satanic mistress's every command? There are few downsides.
Y'know. Apart from the potential psychological and physical abuse.

Now this is something Three understands well! There is a mischievous glimmer briefly residing in her eyes as her throat rumbles. She purrs in what can only be defined as the feline equivalent of a seductive beckoning. Perchance a mating call? Ah, well. Who knows.
She responds to the grappling with remarkably graceful style, quickly edging over to the curtains and, if Charynrae voices her consent, hastily shutting them tight.

I quite possibly pulled the number three from my ear.
If Mine takes too long in dressing Elezibethele, her hand will connect firmly with Mine's rear, accompanied with a snapped 'hurry up!'
When that is complete, Elezibethele will have a quick bowl of cereal (neglecting to feed Mine) before she hurries through to the Chapel taking up the main part of the ground floor and stands next to the altar and orders Mine to sit on the floor at her feet.
Hermitage- Stables
Four hives of several thousand bees each. Mr. Squiggles is assured that none of them are giant, all small-sized bees. And they aren't parasitic wasps, either, so that's good, right?
Hermitage- Outside, Heading In
The ettercap shall lead the three travellers through the main door into a corridor stretching to the left and the right, with two doors opposite, one very ornate and bearing a large two-tailed scorpion painted onto it whilst the other is smaller, iron-bound and sturdy-looking. The ettercap will open the ornate door and motion for Justin, Brand and Waterstrider to enter. The ettercap will wait outside.
The ornate door leads to the chapel, a vast chamber with a mural on the ceiling and two rows of three columns along the middle; the columns are carved to resemble the legs of a colossal arthropod; the mural is a view of the bottom of a beetle, making it appear as though the people sitting in the pews are sitting beneath a massive beetle. At the far end of the chamber stands Elezibethele, a young, black-haired, green-eyed elf wearing a regal purple dress with a silver amulet depicting a two-tailed scorpion around her neck and a jewelled brooch pinned to the front of the dress. The brooch is shaped as a male stag beetle. Around her wrist is a silver bracelet linked by a narrow chain to a collar around the neck of Mine, her currently-naked elf slave. She is standing next to the altar, a seven-foot-long stone block with two branching, hooked upwards-pointing protuberances at either end. The top of the altar has a featureless humanoid form painted onto it with its arms stretched above its head. Next to it is a small tub containing several wriggling beetle larvae.
Inside Temple- Lauretta's Room
Somebody has left an envelope upon Lauretta's bed. It's addressed to Lauretta, and she might recognise the handwriting as Terrowin's.
Underside Temple
Charynrae doesn't voice her consent, but pulls the curtains anyway. She'll try to maintain control throughout the curtains, however.

Likely because her tongue is otherwise engaged, I surmise.
Exerting control over Three in something as base and primal as curtaining is no mean feat, but I do believe that Charynrae will manage just fine.
One must wonder why, in a relationship focused on love, domination and subjugation are essential to the proceedings of it to Charynrae. Is it merely a result of the slave-master mentality or does Charynrae believe herself too formal for the full-blown onslaught of passion? In any case, Three is of the belief that Charynrae needs to seriously let her hair down. After all, what good is life without fun?
Needless to say, when the curtains rise, Three is out of breath and panting heavily.
"You're a very ssspecccial woman, Reverend Missstresss."
She murmurs.
Hopefully, Charynrae hasn't decided that she is hungry enough to take a bite out of Three after curtaining. That would really put a damper on things.
And it wouldn't make a lot of sense. Three is supposed to be the wrong gender to receive that treatment from her beloved Reverend Mistress.

Justin pauses for a moment taking in the room, the altar, the woman, and the slave on the the floor. This was more than some rinky-dink, fruit juice, cult. This was the first time thus far he thought he might have been just a teensy bit over his head. He was very very glad he had back up, though he'd feel better if it was his old crew. Working to not let his worry show, or to let character drop, he drops to a knee. "My lady, I am Justin Mine, son of a merchant. I was told by your... guard," he felt that was a fitting title for the ettercap, especially considering he has no clue that it's called an ettercap, "that your hermitage was in need of resources. It would be my honor to establish business relations with my father's company and your church. Am I speaking to the priestess Elizabethele or Azurelle?"

Waterstrider kneels down to one knee and lowers his head to provide submissive body language. If they can tell his scent, they'll find that he's smelling slightly of fear and submissiveness. Even so, he sticks near to his "master" as he takes in a deep lungful of air through his nose to try and smell all the different things in the room.

"I am High Priestess Elezibethele of the Church of Dalachech. Grand Mistress Azurelle of the Order of the Centipede is currently away. I don't know where she is, but I hope she stays there for a bit longer. The ettercap is not a guard; merely a loyal scout and devout follower of the Lord of Invertebrates. What resources can you supply?" Elezibethele's voice is loud, clear and it's obvious she's used to giving orders that are immediately obeyed. She pays little attention to Waterstrider or Brand, focussing instead on Justin, who has made it clear that he's the person in charge.
The Chapel smells of fear, pain (lots of pain), death, and spiders. There's the smell of the ettercap, and another smell, a mix of human and spider marking the Aranea guards. Despite the amount of death, pain and fear hanging in the air, there is practically no smell of blood.
Inside Temple
The envelope contains a Valentine's day card. It's not too lovey-dovey, but it's certainly pink. Inside is a simple message, asking Lauretta to a meal at Dana's Place in Mallside at a set time.
It's signed by Terrowin.
Underside Temple
I believe I said that Charynrae's pulling the curtain with another female doesn't always result in Charynrae eating her partner afterwards. Which means it does sometimes. The fertilising eggs part of the process isn't necessarily linked to the eating of the mates. Charynrae also enjoys being in control in most situations- including behind the curtain. If Three was free, Charynrae would try to be in control.
"I'm very glad that chap who walked under the Temple a while ago chose to climb the ladder. And I'm very glad he had you." Charynrae will lean over to kiss Three, and gently stroke her spine with one of her hands.

Lauretta writes a note back declining. Her IC reason is that she's heard rumours of Terrowin's interactions with Kail and that jealousy and disgust destroyed her crush on him. Her OOC reason is that her player isn't really interested in her anymore, and is probably going to let her wilt away in deadtime forever. Sorry.
Hermitage Chapel
Brand returns to being a passive (and skippable) observer of the scene. Unless he and Waterstrider are given some sort of license to move about freely, this scouting expedition is not going to be as effective as they'd like. Of course, it is perfectly reasonable that the Dalachrechians might not trust Justin's slaves enough to let them wander, in which case, they'll just have to make do with what they're able to learn while under scrutiny.
Justin smirks that merchant smirk. "What is it that the Hermitage needs most, my lady? Food, water, raw materials, spice, or fineries? I am authorized and skilled enough to draw up a contract between your hermitage and my father's trading company for such things, but your scout tells of a need for human resources. A paper trail on such things is inadvisable, but I could work a verbal contract to relay back for my father. If that is to your liking, my lady?" He stops there and waits for Elizabethele's response.

Elezibethele gives a cursory glance over Waterstrider and Brand. When she sees Waterstrider suppress a shudder, she misinterprets the gesture as a tensing of muscles to pounce. "Punish your hound! It's preparing to attack me." Elezibethele's hands leap up, one to her holy symbol and the other to the brooch.

"Preparing to attack?" he asks as he turns to Waterstrider, hair on his neck at it's end. Dammit Waterstrider! He gives the Wolfen and intense glare before turning back to Elizabethele, his face lowered in shame. "I am so sorry, my lady. The dog means only to protect, but he is on edge a great deal more than I would normally like." He stands up angrily, walking in front of Waterstrider and facing him. "And I told you to calm down didn't I!?" He'll attempt to grab Watertrider by the muzzle, and get his face as close to Waterstrider, so Elizabethele can't see. Though his face will remain as intense as before, he'll let a single wink pass and subltly mouth "go down" before he continues. "Didn't I?" If he has a grip on Waterstrider's mouth he'll move his snout up and down with a condescending "Yeeeess! But did you listen?" He'll then shake his head side to side and add a "Noooo!" He'll kick at Waterstrider in the abdomen. He'll kick pretty hard for him to sell it, but with his strength compared to Waterstrider, it shouldn't do much. Hopefully he'll take the hint and drop.

Waterstrider's ears fall back at the misread of the body language. He nearly panics, trying to think of something to keep their cover from being blown. When Justin tries to grab his muzzle, the Wolfen does the only thing that comes to mind. He'll snap at the hand with a growl, purposefully missing from connecting. "You aren't your father, whelp."
In his tribe, Wolfen can be dominant or submissive to each other in social hierarchies, and many times, a show of force is needed. Sometimes ending in quite a bit of blood in Honor Duels. In order to establish Justin's dominance as slave owner to Elezibethele, he'd probably have to do something more than a little forceful. She was obviously the ruler here to his eyes. Whatever Justin planned to do would be too light in all likelihood. And if Waterstrider had to help that along in order to further the plan, he would.
