I think that a Soulknife's weapon continues to function inside an Anti Magic Field (and by extension a Null Psionics Field) and it is simply treated as masterwork.
Ah yes the SRD says you need to make a DC20 Will save to maintain it for a number of rounds equal to your Class Level. So that's that I suppose.
I hope the game will pick up pace after you join us. I feel like I'm waiting for the game instead of playing it.

Argh, I'm so sorry about this. Names managed to drag me into playing in a different campaign, and I've been spending the last few days getting introduced to the world of optimization.
Still, I hope this longer, slightly-philosophical post makes up for it a little.
Finally: the end of day one. It took us over six months to get here, but we've made it farther than any other PbP campaign I've ever been a part of. That's a little sad, now that I think about it.
Anyways, everyone earns 200 XP. Fifty of it is for defeating the level-one encounter with Ruby and Elanna, and the remaining 150 is for accomplishing story objectives. I'll be awarding chunks of XP like this at reasonable checkpoints.
Oh, almost forgot. I know how a secret roll while the players are sleeping is typically high-octane Paranoia Fuel, but with everything that's happened so far in the campaign, I figure I can't make anything worse.
Neat, and the middle-of-the-road number leaves me not especially worried or secure-feeling.
Hopefully we can get the pace up from 1/180, though I think day one went by so slowly because it was rather substantial, not to mention all the set backs that were thrown at you, Alagaesian. I would say this has been, and I hope it can continue to be, a wholly enjoyable experience.
Edit: Also, -1 PP for Repletion for day 2, with 2 PP remaining.
Can I just assume that I woke up an hour before the knock on the door and have already prepared my spells? Or do I have to stall everyone?

Unless story demands it, usually everyone wakes up with stuff like spells already sorted.
Also, some DMs like you to post the day's spells each morning on PbP. Ala, you wanna do that, or not?
This game so far has been fantastic. To think that this is your first ever game to DM is astounding.
And as well has being an amazing game, this is an awesome group too. What I think we should do is form a semi-permanent group, and after this game is finished, somebody else could take a turn to DM, and we can be a regular PbP group. Considering how nightmarishly hard it is to find groups of people who will stick with a game come hell or high water, now we have found one, I say hang on for dear life. It'll be great, we can do loads of games as a group together!
What do you guys think?

I'll assume that's the case in my IC post, unless DM disagrees.

here are my prepared spells for the day:
level0: Detect Magic, Daze, Light(Evoc), one unprepared slot
level1: Magic Missile(Evoc), Color Spray, Charm Person
I update my dndsheets sheet, I suggest you(Alagaesian) to replace my mythweavers sheet(in first OOC post) with this one.

1- From this instant this groups is officially called "The Group!" (the exclamation mark is part of the thing).
2- Welcome to the "The Group!".
3- "The Group!" has officially become a regular PbP group.
4- I urge you to pm or email me your email address so that I can reassemble "The Group!" in case something happens to giantitp (and also spam you with annoying advertisement).
5- From this moment "The Group!" will be referred to as TG! for convenience's sake.
6- You can vote for the ridiculous name to be changed to the most innovative name of SMG! (Semi-Permanent Group!) - my vote counts as three votes for some reason.
7- Please don't vote more than twice.

I would enjoy this becoming a group. I don't personally think it needs a name though, since I don't quite the see the point for one in this case.
Also, I've changed my character sheet, but I only added the 200 experience to by current experience, which I'm not sure is a significant enough change to warrant updating the OP.
Considering that I have plot ideas that require characters strong enough to defeat dragons, I say we keep this PbP group going. Though, I agree with Sodalite - there's really no need to call it anything.
Also, unless there are complicated circumstances (for instance, getting ambushed in the middle of the night) we can assume that you have prepared all your spells at the start of each day. I would like everyone who prepares spells to post their daily spell list on this thread, however.
Although I think it's quite early to be talking about what comes after this campaign, I like the idea of everubody having the same intentions with this game.
I hereby declare our group Best of Buddies Forever!
I've changed my sheet.
My spells: 0
Purify food and drinks
Guidance
Light
1
Command
Obscuring mist

I was going to spread the information in this IC post across a handful updates, but I couldn't see what you guys would do during the breaks between each. Enjoy your Wall of Text.
Also, I can now reveal that the most recent secret roll was Thomas failing to hear anything suspicious last night while he was awake.

The high ones were several of Curdis's Bluff, Slight of Hand, and other things. The low ones were Horten and pretty much everyone else failing to notice anything suspicious. Curdis actually bungled one of his Bluff checks, which you will be able to pick out if you read through that period of the game.
How's everybody doing? To those in the effected areas of the US, how are you handling the heat wave? To those not under those conditions, how has the weather been in your local area?
Doing pretty well thanks. Being slammed at work (I work at a kids activity centre, so this is our busiest period) so I apologise if it seems like I'm dropping in to post a quick IC post and then disappearing for a week.
The weather on the east cost of England is interesting. Hot-ish (for us, which is around 20-30 celcius, probably nothing compared to parts of the States though) but the real killer is the humidity, especially working in a kitchen all day. Oh and the on and off torrential rain. We're quite lucky in my area as it's fairly flat so it doesn't really have anywhere to pool, but I know other parts of the country have experienced pretty severe flooding. I saw one forecast earlier this week that suggested some areas had had up to a months average rainfall in 24 hours, which is nice...
Damn, you got an Englishman talking about the weather. You're playing with fire here Sodalite, we could have been here all day.
How about yourself, anything interesting to report?

Let's see: Michigan is getting bombarded by 100-degrees F heat waves. (38-degrees C, for those across the pond.) Also, we've been experiencing on-and-off violent thunderstorms that have dropped over 1.5 inches (4 cm) over the past two days, which is fairly intense for this kind of weather. By "on-and-off" storms, I mean that it's raining in sheets one minute, bright and sunny about fifteen minutes later, and raining again in another half-hour. While this makes me very nervous whenever I walk home from work, at least my garden's happy. Luckily, due to our massive abundance of lakes, the resulting flooding has only affected people with lakefront property.
The worst part is that Michigan's winter temperatures tend to be an inverse of the previous summer's. For instance, we usually have one week in the 90's in July and one week below zero in January. However, having a week in the hundreds and high-nineties means that we're probably getting a week in the negative-tens in roughly six months. (-23-ish Celsius) Include the windchill we'll no doubt be getting at that point in the year. Be afraid, be very afraid.
See, people from Michigan also like to talk about the weather. The difference is that we spend half the time talking about crazy storms we've seen in the past. ("Remember that one ice-storm that gave everyone brown-outs for a week? Or that tornado that blew my shed into the neighbor's house? Or the rainstorm that flooded Meijer's parking lot?") At least we don't get earthquakes or hurricanes.
Middle east, Iran. Extreme temperature, no rain, no clouds. No talk weather. If open mouth, will be baked inside. Only leave house at night. Friend's DVD melted in car's DVD player. Dead cat in street. Listen to "Surface of the Sun". Eat ice to survive. Can't cast endure elements in real life. No cold side of pillow, both sides hot :(
